On arrival it was nice to see plenty of parking and a clean entrance however our happiness was short lived as at the desk we were presented with a large declaration to sign regarding our dogs stay, and clear letters stating that the cost is £15 per dog, per night. Not the £15 per dog per stay, as detailed in the Expedia listing.
On querying this we were told that The Abbey Hotel considers each night to be "one stay". I find such an excuse incredibly weak, especially when it increased the cost of our multi-stay-stay, by 20%.
I made it clear that they needed to correct the listing and note that to date, it still hasn't been. Given the way it was handled, we will not be returning.
