"The property itself had easy access off the highway and plenty of parking. The building was neat and clean. The rooms were great, very comfortable beds and everything in the bathroom was and working order. Our only complaint was the breakfast area. The hotel was full on Saturday night and on Sunday morning there were a dozen people coming down for breakfast. The hot food was empty and there was only one carton of milk that was expired in the small refrigerator. We waited about 30 minutes and there was no food brought out for the group. Poor planning by the staff."

"The staff was exceptional. Friendly and informative. Our room was clean and spacious. The property was just ok. Common area spaces were not well kept. The elevator was filthy. Pool area was organized but the floors needed a good scrub. The bathroom just before you entered the pool area looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Overall for a small town hotel it was good. Just a few adjustments and it could be great!"

"Outstanding rental in a peaceful surrounding. Nestled amongst pines, this cabin provided comfortable sleeping accommodations. Host was responsive and incredibly thoughtful in furnishing it, providing several DVD’s, a wide variety of games —indoors and outside. A nice fire pit and a little patio for cool, relaxing mornings. A deer visited on two occasions. The property offers a loop that would make pulling a boat in easy and just a stone’s throw from the cabin is the public boat launch. You can cook out on a grill or whip up a nice meal in the kitchen. Great for a family. Book this cabin and you will have any kind of adventure you want!"

"This is an excellent lower cost motel. It is not the Four Seasons or The Plaza, but it doesn't cost like those places. The room is nice and very clean. The shower has loads of hot water. The bed is comfortable; the people are nice. Breakfast is some fruit and sweet rolls. Maybe the coffee could be a bit better but that's our only downgrade. This is value and for the dollar spent it is excellent value, actually it exceeded our expectations. We pass through this area every year on a way to a family reunion and this place has never let us down. The rooms have been upgraded over the years, and you will not find better at this price point. This is value for a night's stay. There are resorts in this area that charge five times the nightly cost and more but for a night's stay in our opinion you won't do better for the dollar spent. We'll be staying here next year when we pass this way again and we think we'll be happy."
