“The hotel was very nice with so much beautiful artwork. We bought a lot from the art shop. The room was nice. The only comment we would make is the length of our stay. Almost everyone in the hotel came off the 16 hour ferry ride from Prince Rupert. It is an exhausting trip and we didn't even arrive at the hotel until after 1am. We woke up at 9am next day so we could have some breakfast which wasn't included. When we asked for an hour extension on the room, the office staff said it wasn't……

“My room was the first room in the corridor. The corridor was having a door which was heavy. Each time people came in or went out through the corridor, the door slamming loudly. One morning, other guests might need to catch a very early morning flight, and woke me up. Other than the door all other things were good. Staff were friendly.”

“Bed very comfortable, good view and location. Black mould in the windows, hot and stuffy, had to ask for toilet paper and soap, crack and hole in the bathroom sink which didn’t drain, shower just shut off mid shower, coffee pot didn’t work, housekeeping took all the plastic glasses away and didn’t replace. Check in was confusing, done at a bar by a new server who didn’t know anything. We were booked into the Sportsman Inn, ended up in the McNeill Inn, old building in need of updating. All got……

“We had a beautiful room with a balcony facing the water. We were treated to a pod of dolphins and an orca viewing in the morning. Warm and friendly home base for exploring Alert Bay. Walkable from the ferry as we went on foot. Quiet on a Sunday but exactly what we were after. We missed the summer crowds and felt like we had the bay to ourselves. Highly recommend hanging your hat at the inn.”

“the building itself is rather plain and ugly compared to the rest of Telegraph Cove, but luckily the view from our room was directly over the water and marina towards the beautiful old buildings and boardwalk across the way. The room was great. Comfy beds and plenty of room.”

“This place in Quatsino was absolutely amazing. The oceanfront location is breathtaking, and there’s something so peaceful about waking up to the water and taking in the beauty all around you. The space itself was cozy, welcoming, and the perfect place to unwind.We especially loved exploring the area — the hikes were beautiful, and the scenery everywhere you turn is just incredible. It’s one of those places that makes you slow down, breathe deeper, and really appreciate where you are.A perfect……
