"Hoewel de gastvrouw zeer vriendelijk was, en de accommodatie schoon was, vonden wij het absoluut niet aan de minimale vereisten voldoen. Kastjes waren kapot, de badkamer was slecht doordat je in de badkuip staand met de sproeier in de hand moest “douchen”… kortom: absoluut geen comfortabel verblijf. En de hitte buiten (waar natuurlijk niemand wat aan kan doen) maakte onze ervaring er niet beter op. We hebben geen oog dicht gedaan, en zijn dus de volgende dag maar vertrokken."

Could be cleaner (not just for the eye) and the lighting could be better, but we had a very nice stay for a week, we even prolonged our stay with a day. "Les (nombreux) plus : beaux volumes des pièces, deux magnifiques salons, un beau grand salon/salle à manger, nombreux équipements cuisines et lessive, jeux variés et de qualité, literies, vue vers la vallée, taille piscine, accueil sympathique (un peu rapide), belle région avec possibilités de visites, propreté ok (sauf le barbecue qui n'avait pas été nettoyé par les locataires précédents), dialogue avec le propriétaire. Les moins : les extérieurs (abords, accès, chassis, volets) ont besoin d'un bon rafraichissement (dommage, cela rend l'arrivée un peu décevante), les salles de bain sont vieillottes. Suggestion : installer des transats avec parasols près de la piscine. Remarques: la chapelle n'est pas accessible, pas de bain à remous contrairement à l'annonce. Il faut parfois traverser une autre chambre pour arriver à une salle de bain. Nous étions 21 et avons été heureux de louer la maison des gardiens pour que chacun soit à l'aise.Cela dit, dès que l'on accepte (ou apprécie) le côté un peu rustique des extérieurs et des salles de bain, on peut savourer tous les aspects positifs du château qui se révèle un excellent choix pour passer de très belles vacances dans une très belle région."

"We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit prachtige huis! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons meteen welkom. Het huis is ontzettend sfeervol, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles was netjes verzorgd en er is duidelijk veel aandacht besteed aan comfort en details.De locatie is ook geweldig en maakte ons verblijf helemaal compleet. We hebben volop genoten van de rust, de omgeving en natuurlijk van het huis zelf. Het voelde echt als een plek waar je even helemaal kunt ontspannen en tot rust kunt komen.De communicatie met de verhuurder was prettig, snel en vriendelijk. Alles was duidelijk geregeld en we voelden ons goed geholpen wanneer dat nodig was.Kortom: een heerlijke plek waar we met veel plezier op terugkijken. We zouden dit huis absoluut aanraden en komen hier graag nog eens terug! Een dikke 5 sterren! "

"Catherine was a wonderful host. Very welcoming and friendly.We are an extended family group (children from 11-17) and so the accommodation was ideal with lots of bedrooms. The covered eating area outside was great for social games and eating. The area indoor areas stayed cool on the hot days.We all enjoyed the pool area for cooling off and Catherine and her daughter had set up a volleyball net which we thoroughly enjoyed using. Lots of loungers and seating around the pool too.In DOMPIERRE sure Bresbe we were able to shop for provisions at the supermarket.The local area is quiet but close by there is a theme park and zoo (le Pal) which is well worth a visit for the animals and the rides. Moulins (30 mins away) has a riverside area with table tennis, boules, volleyball and a supervised small swimming area. We also booked our canoe trip here which involved the company driving us up river and we then paddled back to base over a few hours. You can also hire bikes from here at the tourist information.Thank you for a wonderful week Catherine."
