「Leider haben wir die heißeste Zeit erwischt, das machte den Urlaub nicht wirklich entspannt, aber das Haus ist ein Traum und das Meer war glasklar. Das Wasser aus der Quelle in Fuscaldo hätte ich gerne zuhause 😉 Der Vermieter ultra nett und jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet. Besser geht es kaum.」

「Wir haben das Haus für 3 Wochen mit unseren 2 Töchtern gemietet und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist wunderschön an einer ganz schmalen Privatstrasse gelegen, inmitten von Olivenwäldchen mit schönem Blick auf das Städtchen und in Ferne auf das Meer. Das Haus verfügt über eine sehr gute Ausstattung, die Fenster haben alle hervorragende Mückengitter. Leider funktionierten Wlan und Elektrogrill nicht. Das Haus verfügt über keine Klimaanlage aber es ist auch bei großer Hitze nie zu warm...

「 nice stay, thick walls, great view. Old house, surrounded by fig trees and oleander. The walls of the back are built into the earth, and therefore cool, but also moist inside- there are air dryers in it for good reason. A small car is easier for the narrow streets and serpentines. We had a great time there.」

「Liebevoll und sorgfältig gepflegte Anlage in absoluter Privatsphäre und Ruhe (Hundegebell gehört allerdings dazu), es ist alles da, was man braucht, nur wer gerne kocht, sollte vielleicht z. B. sein Kochmesser mitbringen, kaum besuchte Sandstrände in 4 min mit dem Auto erreichbar」

「The beautiful view and space was luxurious! The host was always available and helpful. The fresh fruits and vegetables shared with us by the land manager were delicious!!! And pool was clean and well kept. The mattresses and pillows are very old and uncomfortable and very much need to be updated. Some of the full size beds were actually two cots put together. This was disappointing. Not enough blankets and towels were provided.」

「Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back.」

「Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem kleinen Ort mitten im historischem Zentrum. Sie ist nur über diverse Treppen mit ungleichen Stufen zu erreichen. Die Wohnung gehört zu einem Hotelprojekt, so dass man -wenn man möchte- auch auf dem "Dorfplatz" bzw. dort in einem Restaurant frühstücken und zu Abend essen (es gibt ein täglich wechselndes Menu) kann. Im Übrigen gibt es nur ein weiteres Restaurant, dass fußläufig zu erreichen ist, jedoch jetzt im Oktober 2021 auch nur an den Wochenenden geöffnet...

「For Gugliermo and I it was like a blanket or a shawl placed on us from our ancestors . We were in the present and past simultaneously. Gabriella and Gianfranco have taken on a Herculean task of reconstructing this charming hillside village home by home. Gianfranco and his brothers grew up there so there souls are one with the commune. The charm and authenticity of each casa is pure and perfect. The dinner Gabriella and Gianfranco made for us will be one we will always remember. Pure Calabrian....

「Francesco è una persona fantastica, disponibile e accogliente. Il complesso molto bello, sia il parco con le casette sull' albero sia il palazzo ristrutturato. Buona colazione con torte casalinghe, marmellate di produzione propria e miele locale. Ci siamo fermati solo una notte, ma sicuramente ci torneremo. Grazie della bella esperienza. Silvia」
