"We enjoyed our one night stay at Balthazar Hotel and Spa - Rennes. We were able to walk around the city from its central location. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very big compared to other European bathrooms we have encountered. We would stay here again."

"The only thing I would "warn" anyone about is what I already mentioned about another hotel we stayed in: the very large step one has to take to get out of the shower. I joked that we needed a ladder. I was a little nervous and afraid of slipping so if you have reduced mobility you might have difficulty. Speaking of mobility, while we were there the elevator was out of order. Not an issue for us, but double check if this is important for you (especially if you have heavy bags) Excellent location with a great restaurant terrasse right outside."

"Location is good and there is parking (with a fee) at the hotel. My only complaint is our room kitchen cupboard had a very bad smell of overly cooked vegetables. We had to keep the door closed at all times."
