I Thank The Lord My Maker🕊️
My fiancé and I stayed at the Joseph Funk house while meeting with vendors for our upcoming wedding. We chose to stay at this house because of its beautiful kitchen. When we arrived we were surprised with hospitality of fresh flowers in several rooms and fruit on the kitchen counter. There was also sealed coffee and creamer ready for use. It’s nice to see the a host fee actually used for hosting. We enjoyed reading and flipping through photos of the history of Joseph Funk and his contributions to Gods Kingdom. We had fun searching for little framed Bible verses throughout the house. It was like a scavenger hunt. The recent renovations to the home made it comfortable, convenient, and clean. Every morning we sat and listened to the sound of birds singing while having our coffee and tea. The working fire places made for romantic evenings. We found copies of a hymn labeled for a special occasion “I Thank The Lord My Maker”. There are scenic views of rolling hills to see whether you take a left or right out of the driveway. Given the opportunity, we will definitely return to this wonderful vacation getaway home and want to say thank you to the owners for sharing such a special place.
