「This was the last cabin at the end of our 15-day adventure traveling around thisamazing country. Even though the property needed so repairs and updating, it is still a cozy, comfortable rustic cabin. We couldn't figure out the TV/cables for hookup to our IPads, but just looked at all our beautiful photos we had taken during our trip. Snaefellsness Penisula is truly one of the beautiful, must see areas. Arnarstapi/Hellnar was quaint...ate delicious fish soup at little cafe in Hellnar. ...

「We really loved the peaceful setting of the cabin. It felt so spacious for our group of two! The views were wonderful especially the glacier in the distance. It is definitely quite a ride into town so we were glad to have brought food to cook there. It was a great spot to access the Snaefellsnes peninsula which we did in one day. 「This is our third time in Iceland & we have stayed in a different part each time. I have to say that this location is ideal for getting to the north & the peninsula. The house is in a quiet location & it has everything you need. Everything is in great working order & it’s clean & homey. The communication with the owner is excellent & they have very thorough house instructions that I appreciate. I would gladly stay here again & I highly recommend it to others. 」

「We rented both houses Bakki and Holt for our extended family. It was perfect. They are connected by a quick path through the woods. Great location outside of town but close enough for easy access to grocery stores and liquor store. We used this as a base to explore Snæfellsnes peninsula. Farther out on the peninsula quickly becomes very empty and hard to restock. 」
