A lovely place to stay in Reykjavik

A lovely place to stay and just over the road from BSI central bus terminal and ten minutes walk up to the the famous church and from there downtown .

Einfaches Guesthouse, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles ist sauber und funktionstüchtig, in der Gemeinschaftsküche kann man sich selber versorgen. Die Lage ist perfekt zum Ankommen oder Weiterreisen, ein paar Schritte ins Stadtcentrum und zum Busbahnhof.

Everything about this property worked great for our stay. Staff and facilities were excellent. Please note that this site is very close to the regional airport where the tourist helicopters depart from, so there is quite a lot of noise during the day. This didn't bother us too much, and all the benefits of the establishment itself being quiet compensated for the airport noise. Also, if having a room without a television is an issue for you, remember to bring a device on which to view your favorite shows and movies like we did!

The property was super convenient for the shuttle bus to the KEF airport. We had to catch an early bus, so that's why we chose here to stay. It's also about a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride to downtown Reykjavik. There are a couple of places to eat nearby. The place was extra clean and checkin was very straightforward.

Walkable to the bus station. The room was more spacious than some hotels I stayed in. Very comfortable stay and quiet. It was entirely self service with very clear instructions from the staff via email. I didnt explore the area around it as i got in late and just needed a bed before getting to the bus station for a ride to the airport.

Udmærket til et par overnatninger

Vi havde 2 overnatniger. Var spændt på det selv tjek ind og tjek ud, men det fungerede rigtig fint. Fint lille fælles køkken man kan benytte. Selve værelset var ikke noget specielt. Lidt slidt. Men badet var nyrenoveret. Alt var fin rent. Ret lydt, men ikk noget der generede os. Ligger dejlig tæt på byen, det tog ingen tid at gå derned.

The property was excellent, hospitality was top rated, no issues with checkin and checkout. Walkable distance from Bsi bus terminal. Just few bits that might need attention or improvement are The room didn't have a litter bin, there was one in the toilet but a small one. The toilet door could have been better, as the current door is just a sheet of wood with sliders fixed at top, Perhaps one on slider hinges on the bottom would make it more stable. There was also no handle on it. But overall no complaints it was a pleasant stay and we'd book again.

Von außen sieht die Unterkunft sehr heruntergekommen aus. Sie liegt direkt beim Busterminal, von der aus man zum Flughafen kommt und auch Tagestouren (z.B. Golden Circle Tour) starten kann. Wir hatten ein renoviertes Zimmer ohne Schrank, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Direkt gegenüber unseres Zimmers war das ebenfalls renovierte Gemeinschaftsbad. Es gibt im Untergeschoss eine neu gestaltete Gemeinschaftsküche und immer kostenlos Kaffee aus der Jura Kaffeemaschine. Zur berühmten Kirche und in die Stadt braucht man etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir konnten sogar deutlich früher das Zimmer beziehen. Uns hat es für 4 Nächte sehr gefallen. Allerdings hatten wir auch ein renoviertes Zimmer. Im Keller hätten wir nicht wohnen wollen. Die Außenfassade bedarf dringend eines neuen Anstrichs und Bettlaken ohne Löcher sollten Standort sein.

很滿意。位置很好，步行前往BSI Bus Terminal 只需3～5分鐘。

靠近巴士總站，方便乘搭FlyBus來回機場，又是參加Reykjavik Excursion本地遊的起點。由於旅館沒有check in counter及沒職員駐場，所以要根據大門口的電話號碼，致電其職員來開門及辦手續。職員Paul接聽我電話後只需數分鐘便來到，他很熱誠和有禮貌。房間很大，wifi及暖氣不錯，整體滿意。

Good location

Good location - near the bus terminal which can be picked up by any day tour and airport express. Near the gas station for refreshment. Good heat ventilation so that we can keep very warm during our stay. Not far away from down town and sight-seeing spots. Beautiful park and lake are nearby which we like most! Nice staff which arrived quickly even in evening of Christmas Eve. However, we faced inaccessible wifi (may be cause our room was in basement). Only a small window in toilet can be opened. One of the Venetian blinds in our room was broken so that less lack of privacy. The taste of water was not as good as another locations of Iceland like airport, southern Iceland and other Icelander mentioned.

Fair price and convenience for first night stay

對於第一天到冰島或晚上抵達想趕快休息的旅客而言地點不錯，一下飛機轉搭巴士到巴士總站BSI走五分鐘就抵達（Google map才是對的位置，Hotels.com網站上給顯示的有誤），但若是晚上或半夜抵達要先打電話告知，不然會在門外等人從別的地方來開門，我們半夜2點到，雖然前一天有先講，但還是等了40分鐘，因為旅館人員說她的車子發不動。

It is near the BSI. The room is tidy and clean. Everything goes well. But the inconvenient point is you need to call the staff before you check in. And that you need to wait outside under cold weather.

它就在BSI BUS Station 的斜前方大馬路邊而已！CP值超high!

它的洗澡間用的是溫泉水吔~房間超大行李全打開都沒問題！旅客最好先確認chenk-in的時間就好，因為有些Tour 很晚到達雷克雅維克，提前入住比較好。下大雪封路時用走的也可以到達的旅館~風雪封路竟還可以洗到溫泉水~房間又大浴室也多，超好!!!l

It was superficially clean, but the mould on the room's walls impacted my allergies. There was one electrical outlet. It seems they cared very little about satisfied guests, as the only reason for its location was being across from the Flybus station. I recommend this place for that, and that alone

Bon rapport qualité/prix (pour l'Islande)

Auberge bien placée à 800m du centre ville. Parking gratuit devant l'établissement s'il reste de la place (nous n'avons pas eu de souci, il restait 2 places à notre arrivée en fin de journée). À savoir que les locaux sont anciens, le parquet de notre chambre était tout gondolé et la tuyauterie faisait un bruit étrange quand l'eau sortait de la douche. Petite cuisine avec seulement 3 places assises. Bon séjour dans l'ensemble, surtout pour le prix.

Lage ist super, gegenüber Busbahnhof bsi, Reykjavik excursionen, bushaltestelle nahebei, ca. 10min. die strasse hoch zur kirche und laugavegur.
