An amazing 80fm2 Penthouse apartment in the down town harbour area. The location is one of the best in the city with a view to the famous Snæfells glacierThe apartment is recently refurbished in a tasteful Scandinavian style. It has two bedrooms and a large terrace facing the city and the old harbour. Fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom is large with a bath tub. Free underground private parking and free high speed internet. We offer Netflix for free Entertainment.

Old West side Reykjavik

Our Vesturbaer rental was easy to find and elevator access was convenient. Apt. was clean and comfortable but the shower/tub required a high leg lift to step into and the tub floor lacked a non-skid surface or mat. Other than that all was good with a short walk to Harpa Hall and restaurants & bars in Reykjavik. Tenant/guest parking in the basement is a tight squeeze but manageable. Street parking is readily available if needed, but do not ignore the pay-for-parking regulation hours. We saw a vehicle with a ‘Denver boot’ on a front wheel to immobilize it apparently for parking violation. All-in-all, I would stay here again.

Great location, did not have to use our rental car for two days while touring the waterfront and downtown area, 10-15 minute walk to most of the tourist locations of Reykjavik.

Great location with parking included

We enjoyed our stay in this sleek and welcoming penthouse apartment. The location is great for exploring the old city and nearby restaurants, bakeries, museums, etc. The apartment really faces onto a quiet side street, not the harbor.The view from the spacious balcony actually is of the city; the harbor view is around the corner out on the balcony.
