Clean room. Property set against a mountain with 2 small waterfalls, very scenic and secluded. No shoes allowed inside, which makes it a little difficult to get in and out. A little porch will make it easier to put/take shoes on/off in rhe cold

Gorgeous area, far from the madding crowd but close enough to glacier lagoon. Two lovely restaurants nearby - sister hotel next door and Hali restaurant 5minute drive away. Beautiful room, perfect view, great shower, mini fridge and tea and coffee. A wonderful place.

We LOVED this hotel! The room was spotless, super comfortable beds and amazing views right outside. Behind the "house" there are waterfalls. Location was super close to the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. This was our favorite hotel for our trip in Iceland and wish we had the opportunity to stay longer than a night.

A lovely room in a location convenient to the glacier and beach. The views are beautiful, especially the waterfall on the back side of the property which was visible from our shower. The area is not very close to gas and food options, but the hotel across the street had a wonderful breakfast buffet.

Ekra Glacier Lagoon was a really nice place for us to stay near Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. The setting was gorgeous with a bunch of waterfalls right behind our room! It's set back away from the road, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable and had firm and soft pillows to choose from. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, kettle, french press, with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the South Coast of Iceland. Thank you for providing such a nice and comfortable place to stay! :)

The room was as advertised. There was no staff which was nice since a lot of hotels have check in ending at 8 pm. The parking situation was confusing since there are only three spots but I called the emergency number and the gentleman instructed us to park anywhere as long as it doesn't block the cars and views of the guests.

We loved our stay. It is in a quiet and remote area with a view that absolutely could not be beat. I wish we would have had more time here for the view alone. The place was clean, easy to access, with a lovely bathroom. Bonus points as well for the adorable and totally sweet yellow lab we met on the property. 5 starts for him alone. Would definitely come stay here again. The only thing I would advise for anyone staying for the first time is to plan ahead for food as options in the area are limited.
