The air conditioner is very noisy, and in the early mornong, 4 AM, the train passes by in front of the window, making it very noisy. Thankful, the hotel provided a pair of earplugs. It was really no useful.

When we arrived someone was smoking right outside the front entrance- I had to hold my breath - There was no one in the breakfast area to advise the milk for the cereal was sour- I had to wait for someone to come to the front desk to tell them anout the milk. The place was clean and comfortable- the price was reasonable-

Poop on bathroom wall. burnt out lights, showerhead height came to my chest, loose tiles floor, and a train that comes at 3AM 30 feet from the room. Look at options one or two exits south of here. They are 10 minutes away and much better. Breakfast here was good.

Hotel needs updating. In our room the TV didn’t work properly - colors on the TV is off. Drawres on the unit below TV don’t close properly. Rust marks in the bath. Elevator are having issues.

Parking lot was trashy but safe. The elevator wasn't working properly but manager gave me room on 1st floor. Train track is right beside hotel so they provide ear plugs. And rye pool was cold with warm spots.Otherwise very nice &clean! I would stay again.

The hotel was okay other then we was stuck in the 3rd floor the elevator worked but once we got the the 3rd floor and got in our room if we need it to go back out we had to send a text to staff to send it to the 3rd floor but the text thing only worked twice the other 30 times we had to go out we had to take the stairs with items and stuff not to mention wifi kept on disconnecting….

Third floor elevator button wasn’t working but workaround was acceptable. Room had left overs from previous tenant in coffee maker and candy in a drawer. Would like electrical outlets at bedside table and a grab bar or two in the shower. Breakfast was nice and parking was convenient. Personnel were friendly and polite. I would stay again if I’m in the area.

My stay at Hotel Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Doswell was beyond disappointing. The staff was unhelpful and indifferent to my concerns. Not only was the light fixture in my room malfunctioning, but the TV didn't work either. The shower was clogged, leaving me standing in ankle-deep water. The overall appearance of the hotel was outdated and filthy. To top it off, the elevator's call button was broken, and the makeshift solution of texting a number to summon it was ineffective—I ended up waiting for 10 minutes before giving up and walking down. The thought of potential bedbugs made me prefer a two-hour drive home after an exhausting day rather than endure another moment in that dismal establishment."

Staff was nice . When we entered the room it was candy on the floor and some trash in the trash can. We went to the pool but couldn’t stay long because the chlorine/chemicals in the water were too strong. It burned my sons eyes.

Dirty hallways/ pool/gym. The lobby as far as aesthetics and cleanliness doesn’t match the rest of that hotel. Musty odor, beds are mid. I came to the area to visit family, I guess if you were coming to Kings Dominion or you wouldn’t really care about the hotel. Hotel really could care less about much. For me its the $130 a night. This is like a $60 hotel/motel. Never again

The property seemed in run-down condition. We had stayed in Country Inns before and this one was not as nice. This hotel serves the area in the summer season as itis adjacent to a theme park. The property is next to a railway crossing, hence we noticed ear plugs provided on the night tables. Some furniture was broken, Bathroom light out and the phone was dead and did not work. Generally not a good experience.
