Great weekend getaway
This cabin was very comfortable and clean! The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The views from the inside are just as spectacular on the outside. While the house is not directly on the reiver that was okay. We figured it would be hard to find a house right on the river with amazing views of the mountains off in the distance. The walk down to the river is not bad. It takes about 7 or so minutes. I highly recommend boots or something other than standard shoes if you go before the dew dries up in the grass. My feet were soaked from the morning due walking down to the river. The walk back up is a bit tedious given that it’s mostly up hill. If you’re going down to the river for a cocktail, I highly recommend taking a truck! Our only grievances if you would even call them that was the internet is very spotty. It made trying to stream anything almost impossible in the evenings especially since the router kept going out every 5 or so minutes. There is very little cellphone signal, so you need the internet to even text. I recommend downloading music and/or movies/shows so you don’t have to fully rely on the internet. The hot tub could also use some TLC and a good cleaning since it was dirty and was not working properly during our stay (knobs missing or broken, jets were weak). All in all, I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway. I have put it on my list of places to hopefully visit again in the future!
