Farmhouse In Privileged Location, with private pool and established gardens.

This 100 year old finca has been recently renovated and tastefully decorated, On the ground floor you all find an open plan fully fitted kitchen, diner, sitting room, a separate smaller lounge with open fireplace, large laundry and store room and toilet. Upstairs there is the master bedroom on suite, single bedroom, 1 family room (with double and single beds), a double bedroom and a surprisingly large family bathroom with bath and separate shower. The double kitchen doors open to a large outside dining area, shaded by vines with spectacular views over the surrounding mountains and valleys to the sea in the distance. Surrounded by a garden with private pool /jacuzzi and many flowers, olive and almond trees. This traditional Spanish house has a very welcoming and warm feel, a peaceful and quiet location with magnificent views and only a short drive from the village of Riogordo with all amenities, shops and regular bus service to Malaga city.

This property is located 30 minutes drive from Malagas historic centre, 60 minutes from Granada and 90 minutes from both Cordoba and Sevilla.
The beach at Torre del Mar, Malaga or Torremolinos are a 30 minutes away and the picturesque resort of Nerja is a 45 minute drive.

The view from this property is truly spectacular, sitting watching the landscape wake up or go to sleep is something I will always treasure. The house is very clean and has most things that you need, though a chest of drawers in the main bedroom and a wardrobe in the guest bedroom would have really helped when unpacking. The outdoor space is very pretty with grape vines and beautiful flowers but they do attract a lot of wasps, hornets and midges so make sure you pack some deet. The outdoor furniture is a little tired and could do with upgrading and there were only 4 sunbeds for 6 of us which was disappointing but Simon brought along a couple of collapsible ones. The owners were incredibly helpful and sorted any problems quickly and recommended lots of places to eat or visit which was really useful. The local village was really traditional with pretty houses and steep, picturesque streets, but we found that unless you spoke reasonable Spanish it was difficult to communicate as nobody spoke any English. The few restaurants that were there are a mixed bag, sometimes open, sometimes not and if I’m honest we never felt particularly welcome. I’m not sure if it was because we were British or just a tourist, but everyone was very curt and unsmiling and the service wasn’t great. We’ve visited Spain many times and the people have always been warm and welcoming so not sure why Riogordo wasn’t. All in all we had a very restful stay at this beautiful farmhouse.

A gem in Andalucía

What a fantastic 2 week holiday in a beautiful location - exactly what we wanted and all very relaxing! The scenery around the beautiful villa is just breathtaking and the village of RioGordo is charming. The restaurants/tapas bars serve great food and all in easy reach by car as are the beaches and beautiful Malaga old town. Simon and Jeanette are charming hosts, extremely helpful and super friendly. All in all a wonderful stay - we will definitely return! Debbie and Andrew

Ein wunderbarer Ort mit Ruhe und Charme.

Ein ganz besonderes Haus mit viel Charme, Ruhe und fantastischem Ausblick! Die Terasse ist zauberhaft, die Küche ist gut sortiert und alles ist vorhanden um sich wohl zu fühlen. Das Wohnzimmer haben wir gar nicht genutzt wegen des guten Wetters. Alles hat super für uns gepasst. Vielen Dank!!!

Such a peaceful spot with beautiful views. The house was great - everything we needed. Swimming pool lovely if perhaps a little small (but big enough for us to play pool volleyball in). Outdoor patios perfect for lounging in the heat and eating outdoors. We had an amazing week.

Andalusien Panorama

Wunderbare und sehr gut ausgestattete Finca mit viel Charme. Alle Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und luftig. Der Panoramablick in die Umgebung ist beeindruckend. Der letzte Kilometer der Zufahrt ist zwar etwas steil und holprig (Schotter) aber machbar. Der Pool ist klein aber fein und verfügt über Beleuchtung und Whirlpool-Funktion. Im nahe gelegenen Riogordo gibt es einige kleine Supermärkte, die alles wesentliche anbieten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Wunderschönes Haus in bester Lage

Ein wunderschön gelegenes und von Außen uneinsichtiges Objekt. Beste Ausstattung, gute Betten und sehr saubere Bäder. Alles, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Jeannette und Simon sind sehr gute aufmerksame, aber nicht aufdringliche Gastgeber. Sie kümmern sich um alles Notwendige und geben gerne Tipps zu Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten usw. Der Pool war Top gepflegt (Danke Simon :). Wir können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

Traumhaft!

Für mich persönlich ein Ort, an dem ich gerne Wurzeln schlagen würde. Das ganze Haus ist so stimmig, dass ich mich direkt heimisch fühlte. Ruhig gelegen mit beständig leicht wehendem Wind wodurch selbst im Juli die Temperaturen gut zu ertragen sind. Perfekt ergänzt wird alles durch die Besitzer. Sich diskret im Hintergrund haltend und doch mit Rat und Tat sofort zur Stelle wenn nötig. Als Hinweis : Wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist, ist ein Fahrzeug definitiv nötig. Für mich persönlich aber kein Negativ- Argument. Jeanette und Simon wünsche ich alles Gute, wir sehen uns wieder!

Nos hemos alojado en la casa 15 dias este agosto, y hemos disfrutado de una estancia increíble. La casa es espectacular, con unas vistas que de las que no te cansas nunca. Esta perfectamente equipada, como si estuvieras en tu propia casa, y extremadamente limpia. Heaven in Andalucía !

I’m very picky when it comes to houses I rent. This house was definitely one of the most beautiful I had the opportunity to stay in. The house itself is beautiful, It Is so comfortable, nicely decorated and warm... You’ll feel at home. The views are just breathtaking, you could spend a day just looking at the landscape. I’ve spent a couple of weeks and I must say it has been one of the best in the past few years. I’ve slept like a baby and woken up every morning to views I’m still dreaming of ! The terrace and swimming pool area are perfectly equipped for you to relax and enjoy the sun and the breeze. We had some friends coming over for a few days and their only wish was they could stay longer in this peaceful and beautiful location.

Beter kan niet!

Wij zijn gisteren teruggekomen van twee weken in Casa Jose Ramon. Wat een prachtige vakantiewoning. Het ontbreekt je aan niets. Ruime slaapkamers, uitgebreide keuken en heerlijk zwembad. Onze kinderen arriveerden later en brachten hun vrienden mee. Hierdoor hadden we in totaal 7 ligbedden nodig. Simon heeft gezorgd dat er 3 extra bedden waren! Simon en Jeanette zorgen sowieso dat je een fantastische tijd hebt daar en zijn ook zeer responsief op de WhatsApp. We hebben echt een fantastische tijd gehad. We komen zeker weer een keer terug!

Fantastic!

This is a beautiful villa in an outstanding location. From the moment we arrived we were bewitched - what an amazing property - hidden in the hills with the most amazing views all round. The villa has been lovingly restored and equipped - I love cooking and it's the first villa where there have been no complaints from me about the cooker or the lack of equipment. We loved the interior- attention to detail with Spanish historical pictures and finds - some of the photos were really intriguing. The garden is lovely and provided us with mulberries - a first for me - and almonds fresh from the tree. Another boon is that despite the heat in Spain the villa remained really cool at night, we didn't even need to use the fans - there was often a lovely cool evening breeze coming in through the windows. All in all a perfect holiday villa - if you want to get away from it all - we barely left the pool - except for visits to Granada, Seville and of course Malaga. Would also add that Simon and Jeanette, the owners, are lovely hosts - hope to meet up with you again some day.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful week at Casa Ramon. We had everything we needed and it was perfect for a quiet week away. The views from the property are spectacular and it was so relaxing to just sit and look over the mountains in the early evening. If you can, I would recommend stocking up at one of the larger supermarkets before you get to Riogordo then you can use the local shops to top up. Getting to the coast was not too tricky if you fancy a day out and we spent a couple of hours in Malaga city before our return flight home. Overall, a lovely time.

Très jolie maison

Très jolie maison La piscine est plus petite en réalité que sur les photos mais finalement les enfants se sont bien amusés dedans. La maison est très joliment aménagée très bien équipée. Jardin très agréable et très belle vue. Une maison idéale pour une famille À 1h30 de Grenade, Cordoue, et Ronda Donc bien situé pour visiter la région. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour . Simon et Jeannette ont été à l’écoute de nos demandes. Nous recommandons cette location.

Beautiful house and location

The house is located by itself up on a hillside, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes. It is a tastefully decorated house, both interiors and exteriors. The house is spacious, with a large open kitchen/livingroom on the ground floor and four good bedrooms and two bathrooms on the top floor. The house has everything you need for a nice, relaxed vacation in the Andalusian mountains! The garden is beautiful with its shadowy pergola and sun beds by the pool. The only remark is that the pool is smaller than what we expected from the pictures. We highly recommend villa José Ramon!

Schönes,sauberes Ferienhaus mit tollem Ausblick!

Sehr schönes,gepflegtes Ferienhaus.Das Ferienhaus verfügte über einen Kamin und Infrarot und Gasheizstrahler.Die wir auch für Ende März nutzen mussten,weil es abends kühl und sehr windig wurde.Wir wurden mit Obst und einer Wasserflasche empfangen.Es ist ruhig gelegen,kein Mensch weit und breit mit fantastischem Ausblick .Das Bergdorf Riogordo mit dem Auto 5 Minuten entfernt,dort sind Supermärkte vorhanden,die bis 21.00 Uhr aufhatten.Sehr zu empfehlen auch für Familien mit Kindern.Auch gute Anbindung zur Schnellstraße und zur vielen Ausflügen.45 Minuten bis zum Strand nach Malaga.Einfach toll!
