The owners of the hotel are very kind and will help you with whatever you need. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The traditional Spanish breakfast of toast, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

En un valle verde

Habitación sencilla ,muy rústica y limpia. Servicio amable y correcto. Desayuno está incluido y es sencillo. Esta en un pueblito típico asturiano en un valle de montes verdes en plena naturaleza. Tienes 2 bares al lado para comer o cenar,pero la cocina cierra pronto.

It is surrounded with mountains and green trees. Peaceful place to stay away from busy cosmopolitan noise. Room is supper clean and cozy. Furniture added a great taste to the room. Beautiful furniture and beddings. I would like to see improvement in taxi services. Too expensive to take a taxi there.

Posada landestypisch renoviert

Hübsch renovierte Posada, der Region entsprechend. Zimmer sind unterschiedlich in Grösse und Ausstattung. Unser Zimmer in der ersten Etage war hellhörig. Frühstück 'condinental' war In Ordnung, ein Erweiterungsangebot gegen Aufpreis wünschenswert. Personal war sehr bemüht und trotz Sprachschwierigkeiten erhielten wir Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps.

Charming but noisy

The Posada was delightfully quaint, room small with very old fashioned TV, no bath or chairs, but a little communal sitting room outside. Very noisy through the night, bar in square outside, cats sqawling at 2 a.m., next door rooms plumbing, lorries driving past from first light. Breakfast ok, toasted doorsteps of bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee.

La importancia de una sonrisa.

La llegada fue un poco fría por parte de quien nos recibió:llegamos cansados,no había nadie en recepción,y tuvimos que llamar por teléfono para que nos atendieran,sin ninguna explicación ni disculpa,algo que hubiese dado mejor impresión. Pero estuvimos muy cómodos,los desayunos muy buenos y en abundancia,y con amabilidad en el trato.

Mucho mejor de lo esperado.

Perfecto para mi. Me dieron una buhardilla muy acogedora, cómoda y muy tranquila. Un poco calurosa para la temperatura de la calle, pero pude descansar de maravilla. Fidel fue muy amable, pero su mujer fue un encanto. Gracias Asunción por todo.

Lovely hotel in the hills.

This is a lovely little hotel in the hills. Our room was spotless like new and the bed very comfortable. The owners do not speak any English but we got by. There are very few places to eat nearby but we did find a good place down the road. The breakfast was not that great only toast and coffee.

Great service.

All that we can say about our stay at the "pension de fidel" is positive. Very attentive service, good breakfast (freshly squeezed orange juice was great) and good clean ensuite bedrooms (good mattress too). Fidel even printed some info about possible routes for us, and recommended a beautiful view point that we would had missed otherwise. The village is on the east side of Picos de Europa, a good valley to do walks while having the impressive views of the Picos when you look up. Recommended :-)

Nice hotel

Lovely hotel located in a beautiful village. Hotel staff don't speak english but manage to communicate with google translate. Staff very helpful and friendly. Also recommend the bar Que Panaramica for a taste of local life and really good snack/lunch meals.

Excellent hotel

Recently travelling in Spain, we couldn't believe our good luck in having stumbled upon the Posada de Fidel. The beautifully renovated rustic building is located in the little village of Puentenansa, a convenient location for touring the Altamira cave to the east and the Picos de Europa to the west. Our room was large, the furnishings attractive, the beds comfortable and the bathroom modern. The host offered advice on sightseeing and maps and served a delicious continental breakfast early enough to enable us to visit the many spectacular sights of the area.
