「In deze stad in binnenlanden van Basalicata ligt dit hotel. We hadden een ruime, nette en schone kamer met airconditioning en een balcon. Onze auto (mits niet elektrisch of op gas) mochten we in de garage van het hotel parkeren. Ruime toegang met veel ruimte via een steile ingang. Auto stond daar heerlijk in de koelte. ‘s Ochtends mochten we in de bar kiezen wat we wilden eten voor het ontbijt. Sapjes, cappuccino, yoghurt gevulde croissants etc. De eigenaar was zeer gastvrij en niets was teveel....

「We were looking for an out of the way quiet apartment to base a month trip to Italy. I had heard about Calitri from a House Hunters International show on HGTV. The people of the town were lovey....friendly and welcoming to us. I orginally was not going to have a car but I think it would have been very difficult to be in this town with a car to explore surrounding areas. Host was super quick to respond with questions we had. All in all a great month! 」

「Acerenza is een meer dan 2000 jaar oud stadje gelegen op een bergtop van meer dan 800 m hoog met in het centrum een Romaanse kathedraal. Het huis ligt in één van de smalle stegen dichtbij een parkeerplaats van dit stadje. Het pand is oeroud, maar totaal gerenoveerd.
