“We loved residing next to the rushing Mill river. It was a unique experience and very soothing. We felt like we were living in the country and yet we could take a short stroll to the main street with various shops...each having unique merchandise.This was one of our best locations and accommodations during our year of traveling. The laundry room was extremely helpful. We can't say enough about the welcome, the help and the cottage itself.Our dog, Zoe, loved this place also!”

“Lovely old building lots of history. Superb Sunday lunch and excellent fresh cooked breakfasts. Andrew and his team were very pleasant and helpful and the room was nice in a glorious area for walks and some good local pubs and restaurants.”

“Our room was on the first floor, above the pub. You can probably imagine how busy it can get at night. We can clearly hear everything from downstairs which make us cannot sleep. The whole building is old ”

“Friendly staff and lovely food.. maybe one of the best steaks ever tasted. Room was large and well equipped. Over looked the beer garden but no noise after 10 so that was fine. Small car park to the rear but ample for the guests. Hoping to stay here again. ”
