“The check in process was not as it was explained in the host email. We quickly realized there is a gun range adjacent to the property. Also, the property books events. There was a loud party that went on until almost 1am. I messaged the host about the issues; however, I did receive a reply until the following morning. I contacted whom I believe was the owner of the property who was polite and professional but offered no resolution other than they should be more forthcoming about potential noise……

“Big dirty house with holes between doors and floor to the outside. Carpets dirty, sheets and pillow covers covered in detergent not completely rinsed. Mice droppings on the floor, hot water doesn’t work in one bathroom. Lights don’t work in one bedroom. Exterior doors don’t have actual door lock. Mice running around in the ceiling. Driveway is covered with grass and not easy to spot in the evening.”

“There were 7 of us, so hot water for showers was limited. Pool was in need of cleaning. Otherwise a pleasant stay.”
