“Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful. The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again.”

“Service was excellent. The criticisms were yoga was advertised but not offered due to season. Toilets do not flush well due to design, but not any fault of hotel. Current construction required extended entrance/exit out main door to access beach area instead of the shorter path gate. We found current bath/shower design modern but not very functional or ergonomic. Difficult ingress/egress and water spray from shower not easily contained.”

“Basically staying in SA safety is a concern, i had a very bad experience in my last visit of SA in the other hotel. City lodge is quite good about this, the employee is good. One complaint is the view, i didn't get the mountain view this time.”
