"I booked this facility thinking that the price was 234 Canadian dollars. After being charged 333 Canadian dollars I realized the price shown was in US dollars. I immediately reached out to Expedia asking to cancel my reservation as I haven’t realize it’s 100$ more (also we live 1 hour drive away, so it does matter). Expedia reached out to the facility who declined to cancel even if it was booked by mistake. I tried to reach out to them directly but no one answered my message on Expedia website.
So we came. The pool closes by 8pm, like everything else on the facility. So all you can do is feed the mosquitos and make bbq.
Doesn’t worse the price I was forced to pay. Not coming again."
"The property is terribly lit. There was no light outside of our little complex and no light in the stairwells.
There was no place to hang your clothes and no bedside tables to lay your things on. Also, there was a coffee maker with coffee and tea, but no mugs, cups or glasses to drink from.
Lots of dust under the bed"
"The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It is a beautiful spot to go and stay for a few days. A.T.V trails are great. Frank was easy to talk to and very responsive to any of our inquiries. I would rate the cottage and owner at a 10 every day.
Thanks Frank, We'll be seeing you soon."
Calabogie Peaks Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Gym was small and not the cleanest. The restaurant was very limited. They would not let us order in a pizza and eat there even though the kitchen was pretty empty."
"Not only is this a delightful heritage home, but the hosts, Rob and Liisa are wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic.
Lanark is a bit of a backwater, but Perth is nearby with an abundance of places to eat and shop.
We highly recommend Clyde Hall!"

"Our stay was short but amazing! The cabin is beautiful and sits on a very peaceful pond. It was extremely cleaned, the outhouse was also very clean. The groomed trails were great for our dog and us as they were well maintained woth different paths to choose from. We got to enjoy nature and quietness! Highly recommend!"
