Cozy peaceful cabin
This cozy little cabin is a great getaway for peace and serenity, with a babbling brook which my husband and I enjoyed listening to from the secluded back porch, which has a wonderful porch swing and fire pit. We also spent a morning at the wood burning fire pit down by the creek. We enjoyed all the amenities, including the animals that would show up at the creek. Scott was a wonderful host, one of the best we’ve had, as he was easy to communicate with and very accommodating! The cabin was cute clean and had attention to detail. It was a little slice of heaven and we will absolutely return next time we go to Tennessee!

Great Cabin
Had a fantastic time using this as our base camp for hikes in the surrounding area. Kids (3, 6, & 8) had a great time down by the stream and around the campfire at night. We saw some wild boar feeding on the other side of the stream the first night we were there.

So Cozy!
We have stayed at many rentals throughout the years and this was one of the most cozy, welcoming, and serene rentals we have experienced. The cabin was decorated for the holiday/Christmas season which was so thoughtful of the owners. Corn was laid out across the creek to attract wildlife and the creek was beautiful! There is a gas firepit on the back deck and a bonfire location by the creek with chairs. The owners had wonderful communication and were very pleasant. We look forward to staying at this cute little cabin again in the future.

Absolutely amazing!
Our stay was perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the CWM area that was right up the street on ATV's. The back patio was our favorite spot on the property. We viewed many deer and enjoyed the peace and quiet with them every morning with our coffee. I highly recommend this property for some R&R quiet time away from the busy city life. We didn't want to leave!! Thank you again Scott! Hope to book with you again in the spring.

Awesome cabin in the woods
We had an awesome stay there. The place is as described in the listing. Perfect location to get away and just enjoy the nature and the company you bring. You can just stay on the back porch and listen to the forest. We haven't seen deer or bears by the creek, but plenty of birds came by. Kitchen is good size and well equipped to cook at home. Bathroom has more towels that we could need. The best thing about this place is how responsive the owners are - usually reply comes in within a few minutes and they do their best to resolve any questions that arise.

Beautiful Country Cabin
Creekside is by far the most comfortable and well appointed rental we have ever stayed in (and we've been staying in rentals for years). Scott was quick to respond to any questions and check-in was super easy. The property is beautiful and there is loads of wildlife to watch from the deck. We cook a lot and travel with basics so be sure to bring food with you. We were aware of this from past reviews so made plans to stop at a grocery on our way. Hope to be back again.

This cabin and property are beautiful. Large back porch with an awesome view of the creek that runs behind cabin. No neighbors!! Beautiful cabin with handmade furniture! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent!!
It was in a very peaceful location. The cabin very beautiful and lovely. We did not see any bears but we saw plenty of wild pigs, deer, squirrels and birds. Was very peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely be booking again soon hopefully.

Peaceful Retreat
We loved our stay at Creekside. We spent most of our time watching for animals on the back deck. We were able to see a family of deer as well as wild pigs come through and scare off the squirrels. The cabin had everything we needed to relax and settle in for the weekend. We went for a hike at the Obed River outside the Catoosa Wildlife Management Area and then enjoyed a sandwich and a shake at Tanners Historic Cafe in Wartburg (highly recommended as well). Scott was a great host! We hope to return soon.

Perfect relaxing space
We went up to bury mom’s ashes and clean out her home. This cabin is literally only 15 minutes away which was great. The work days were long and emotional as you might imagine but being able to come home to this peaceful serene place was perfect. We usually stay in a hotel as nothing is close so we’re thrilled when we stumbled across Scott’s place. It was exactly what we needed. Scott’s availability by message was very quick and we highly recommend this place. Our young adult daughter and teenage niece stayed a night with us and they loved sitting down by the creek looking for crawdads and fish. The water was low but they still had fun. Surprisingly we didn’t see any wildlife on property but being able to watch the lightning bugs sure was special. We also enjoyed using the grill to share a meal with our family. All in all, great place. Thanks Scott!!

Family Vacation
Place was great! This was our central location after Mammoth Cave as we visited Gatlinburg, Nashville and Rock City. Sitting on the back deck our last night with a fire and listening to the creek was so relaxing. Wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

It was a cozy cabin with a beautiful view from the porch. Definitely would go again. If you stay here, go to the store way before you arrive. There is no real good spot to get groceries close. The field across from the cabin was full of fireflies!!

Just what we needed
This was our first VRBO experience and it was absolutely perfect. We stayed over Thanksgiving and traveled from Ohio to Rockwood to visit my brother and his family we haven’t seen in 10 years. The cabin was 20 minutes away from their place so we will definitely be frequent flyers to your beautiful property.Scott is very quick to answer any questions and concerns we had and the entire cabin was fully furnished with anything you may have forgotten. Awesome cabin if you want pure serenity.
I came up for a long weekend after losing my home and car to Hurricane Ian and brought my girlfriend from Kentucky with me. We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our weekend. The scenery was beautiful and we watched the deer by the creek every morning and evening. The cabin was clean and absolutely beautiful. We had a great time and if you have any questions Scott responds right away. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will never forget this trip.

We loved everything about this property! It was beautiful, clean, peaceful, quiet, and the owner, Scott, was very responsive. Sis and I wanted a place to stay close enough to Knoxville to easily commute to and from Neyland, yet far enough away to relax and enjoy the Fall scenery. This property has a creek out back and there is a nice bridge across it and on the other side was a salt lick and corn, which attracted beautiful deer each morning. We also felt very safe as it's in a nice neighborhood with homes just down the road that were visible from the top of the driveway when we pulled in. We plan to return and make this our little home away from home when we travel to East Tennessee!

Great Cabin!!
This place was perfect! Very well maintained and furnished. Super comfortable with a great atmosphere and perfect view of the creek and woods from the porch out back. Remote but easy to find in a great area. We will definitely be back next time we are staying in the area. Thanks!
