  • Bonner Bridge is one of North Carolina's most well known man-made structures of it's kind (The Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway is probably the most well known). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. If you are interested in wildlife, the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is a very popular location. Can’t get much closer to the beach

Great location and great piece of property! You could spend all day on the two decks in the rear, just listening to the ocean. The elevator was a huge bonus and one of the reasons we chose this property. Taking older family members would have been tough, if it weren’t for the luxury of that elevator , especially with the kitchen being on the top floor. The bunk beds in one of the rooms could definitely stand to have some maintenance done on them. The porches could also stand to have the boards replaced. Very worn and the occupants “nail pops” would hurt. Would have also been nice to have a longer exterior hose to wash vehicles and your beach gear off. But, those are just knit-picking!

Great sunrise and sunset views and great location on the beach. House could use some updates and repairs, overall an enjoyable vacation. I would rent again from the realty agency, they were easy to work with and answered all questions in a timely manner.

House was beautiful, lots of space and great view. Weather was horrible but you can’t control that. Location was a little too isolated for me. Wish there were more things to do closer But I’m sure if weather was better than we wouldn’t have minded just laying on the beach. It literally rained every day.

Oceanfront Delight

We all enjoyed the house and had a great vacation. The renting process went smoothly. The house needed some minor repairs but we expect that with the harsh environment of oceanfront property! TV's were confusing to use with multiple remotes. Overall very pleased.

Great Location, So-so house

This beachfront house is large with plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. The location is awesome. However, the house is not well maintained. I was worried I would be blamed for damages that were there when we checked in and documented everything just in case. We had maintenance issues during the stay too including the handle to the main entrance falling off. The issue was not resolved even after maintenance worked on it. I will not rent this location again.

Disappointed 😞

We have been vacationing in the outer banks for 6 years now and have stayed in Rodanthe before but never with Seaside Vacations. We were disappointed to spend this amount of money only to have doors to entrance of house not lock, windows and walls leak water whenever it rained and two bedrooms on second floor feel like a sauna no matter how cool it was in the house. 2 people had to sleep on couch instead of the bedroom because of the mugginess in that room. Its a shame you spend that amount of money to stay a week and you can't even sleep in a bed because its so hot.
