Best Thanksgiving Trip!

We loved everything about this condo! Location was perfect and the view from the back porch was magical. I loved hearing the ocean every night and watching the sun rise while drinking coffee every morning. Condo was very clean, everything we needed was included (besides sheets or towels, which wasn't a big deal since we drove and had plenty of room in our car). The king size bed was very comfortable too. I don't usually sleep well when I'm not at home but I slept just fine. Would stay at this condo again, highly recommended!

A Great Place to Stay

The condo was nice and well maintained. It was in a great location with an incredible view of the ocean, just a short walk over the dunes to the beach. We liked the area as it was not crowded. There was an RV Park next door but it was well maintained and the visitors there were quiet. The lock gave us a little trouble but our host answered his phone immediately and straightened out the problem. I wasn’t a fan of having to rent or bring your own linens or having the laundry room down the flight of stairs. Thank goodness for the luggage lift. This particular unit was up three flights of stairs. I am suffering with back problems at the moment and it was a chore to go up and down them. In the end it actually strengthened my muscles having to do that. Who knew? Everyone in the area is extremely nice. They all seemed to love working at their jobs and eager to help. We would like to go back next year and would stay in the same place

Family vacation

The condo was as described. The ocean views were spectacular. The beach was never crowded. The pool was super close and was relaxing and not crowded. It was very quiet. It was meant to be a relaxing time as a family and that it was.

Property was great. Keypad did not work at first - owner answered immediately and solved the problem. had a great time visiting some of the historic places and sitting on the beach. Beach views were awesome

Property was clean and as listed. Unfortunately was evacuated a little over 24hrs into our stay. Hurricane Erin didn't make landfall but the threat of storm surge caused Dare county to evacuate all of Hatteras Island. We missed out nearly 6 out of our 7 days booked.

Our stay was perfect! Communication was beyond expectations before arrival and during stay. We enjoyed a very clean property upon arrival. We enjoyed fishing the Rodanthe pier, relaxing on the beach and amazing food at Great Winds Restaurant . We give this property two thumbs up!

The unit was wonderful, views amazing. Kitchen supplies were great for our needs. Location was awesome. Really pleasant neighborhood. The day of our arrival spectrum had an outage so the DVD player and selection of DVD movies was an awesome addition! We would return, maybe longer next time!
