We had a great time. The house is definitely due for some upkeep. Many of the sliding doors are nearly unable to be opened because they are rotting out. The one by the pool several of our group couldn’t open without help. The beds were fine. The kitchen was ok-not real big but functional. The theater room was fun. The sand dunes are very tall so unfortunately you can’t see much of the beach.

We had a great stay! If you are looking for a quiet community this is it. It’s at the end of a short drive and plenty of parking. We seen so a lot wildlife. 3 huge raccoons, a possum, and the morning we left we seen a huge buck walking the dunes! And plenty of birds. If you are a bird watcher the island before the one where the house is, is a wildlife refuge. Birds everywhere! It’s called Pea Island! We also seen 2 light house and did some hiking to where one of the light house use to be. Also the house is right between 2 piers. The kids enjoyed the skate park, pier and the bait store near the house is awesome too. Waves deli, Bros sandwiches, and La Fogota were all delicious! We can’t wait for next year!
The house around sunset so pretty!

Old house with a beautiful view

The house is (very very) old but oceanfront, offers great access to the beach. Plenty of spaces for 3 families, we enjoyed the theater too. There were few issues with the house, called Vacasa and someone was there within half an hour. Great service as usual, the house needs work though. If you can overlook some of that and focus on the view instead, it could be a pleasant stay!

Beach music 10/22

The location was good, nice views, decent access to beach, and kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook meals. House was run down the screens were all ripped, access doors were missing locks, the upstairs fridge didn’t keep food cold so we threw a bunch of food away, and shower curtains were moldy.

This house is NOTHING like the photos online. It is dated, the screened in porch was busted and didnt have any screens in them rendering it useless. We found broken furniture, broken blinds, WINDOW units for A/C which leaked everywhere so they had towels stuffed under them. We found old moldy dirty pillows stuffed next to the beds. The house was filthy. The doors wouldnt lock and we called for someone to fix them and nobody showed up. VACASA is a horrible management company and we will never again use them to book any vacations.

We enjoyed spending time with the family. What we paid for the house it should have been cleanier and not run down. Lots of things needed to be fixed because of wear and tear. The house was a let down, but we mase the best of it.

The upper deck outside furniture was amazing and provided for a lovely place to enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails and the sunset (or incoming storm as the case may be). The house was very dirty. There was mold on the walls and ceilings in a couple of the rooms. We had to spend the first day cleaning the kitchen and the bathrooms. This was after i discussed with them about the cleanliness of the house before we arrived. We were very disappointed. After we cleaned the house I did reach out to them and they did agree to give us compensation equal to one night. We just left so we have not received the funds yet. I do hope they hold up what they said they would do. I would not recommend anyone to stay there until they address the issues that were brought to there attention

VacationOBX 2022

We loved the location of the house to the ocean and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the house. That said, the house needs lots of TLC. Damp and moldy spots on ceilings of lower level bedrooms, fridge and freezer were missing shelves, basketball hoop was smashed, screens flapping in the wind on the screened in porch, deck railings that were wobbly and wired.

We made precious memories at Liquid Rush. The views and amenities were as described with the exception of the bridge construction. Driveway could use repair - lawn care was lacking.
