  • Bonner Bridge is one of North Carolina's most well known man-made structures of it's kind (The Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway is probably the most well known). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. If you are interested in wildlife, the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is a very popular location. Convenient location

We enjoyed exploring the outer banks! This house was located sort of in the middle of where we were looking to go so it worked out well for us.

Great location, would stay again

The location is perfect if you’re looking for an out of the way, but close to everything home. Amazing beach front, just across highway 12. Advertised Sound system didn’t exists. Home was not very clean, but stocked fairly well with necessities. Could use some updating, but for the price, a good choice for families. Rental company great to work with, would recommend and we are for next summer, booking with them.

Our family of 8 had a great stay. Very spacious, plenty of room for everyone. Here are a couple of things, that may help another guest while packing. When they say a fully stocked kitchen, they were not lying. Because of our family size, I did most of the cooking rather than going out. So I brought some things in fear that they would not have it. But I didn’t need anything, except for my crockpot. They had all sorts of large cooking pans, steamer pans, baking dishes, strainers, bowls, etc. I brought my own frying pan in fear of the ones at the house not being in good condition. But it was another waste of my packing, they were all in great shape. They even had corn on the cob holders. No spices . They had tons of extra blankets in each bedroom, aside from the normal bedding. The pictures are alittle bit deceiving, The beach is a slight walk over the dune. It wasn’t awful. The cleanliness was not top notch. But it wasn’t disgusting by any means. It was pretty buggy. A lot of dead flies and spiders. Bring your bug spray!!! Some nights on the deck were unbearable. The grill is a gas grill. We pre bought charcoal, thinking it was a charcoal grill. No need. The coffee pot is also a regular coffee pot or a keurig. Bring either or. There is not much to do that is in walking distance. But there is a little grocery/convenient store up the street. We were there for a lot of odds and ends. It was a great house and would definitely stay again.

Good, remote Beach house in a small little cul-de-sac right across from the beach

If you're looking to be a little remote and not be in all the hustle and bustle of OBX this is the perfect spot. It is about 30 min south of Nag Head area, and about 25 min north of Avon. There was no fighting for beach access because there is a private little section of the beach carved out for just you and the 4 other houses in the cul-de-sac. We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wish the house had was a pool.

Enjoyed but misleading

The picture in the ad was when the house was new. The actual house was much older than the picture shows and it was worn and somewhat dirty inside.
