“It was my first time staying in a cottage, and it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. The interior was beautifully done, with a kitchenette and a cozy living room featuring a fireplace (though we didn’t use it). There’s no restaurant on-site, but there’s a hunting lodge restaurant right next to the cottage, which was convenient. “Kitchen was adequate, no instructions for equipment. Had to get cleaners back to clean properly, remotes missing for fans in bedrooms, spa pool cover lifter broken and pool had a tidemark, swimming pool not clean, and pool area not swept, struts not in place under bunk beds mattress, under beds have not been hoovered and washing line broken. No gate from the garden to the car parking or door to the pool chemicals storage. We didn’t let it ruin our holiday and with a bit more maintenance it……
