Beautifully renovated Mountain cottage with Ocean view

"We had the most relaxing winter escape at the Berry Mountain Cottage. The cottage is well-positioned in private & peaceful surrounds, high on the mountain with stunning views over the valley & coastline below. The horses & alpacas in nearby paddocks were happy to come over to the fence to say hello (even with our overly friendly & enthusiastic Labrador there). We also saw 3 wombats on the property during our stay (very cute)! The cottage itself was clean, warm & inviting with everything we needed to feel the comforts of home including a lovely hot shower, plush towels & boutique aromatic products. The bedding was extremely comfy & dressed with quality linen. We had all the equipment we needed to cook our own meals & the dining table folded out to fit our jigsaw puzzle on one end & feed us at the other. An enclosed yard surrounds the cottage - perfect for guests with dogs who can sniff around safety without wandering off. The main street of Berry was nearby, with all the shops we could want or need right there, along with the “treat factory” a bit further out of town (which lived up to its name)! Berry is central to a variety of country & coastal towns & attractions, making it the perfect place to stay while enjoying day trips & sight-seeing. Tori was an excellent host – Welcoming, accommodating & communicated well before & during our stay. We appreciated the fresh milk, local sourdough & sweet treats on arrival. A wonderful experience that was good for the soul - Thank you!"
"I have never given a place 10/10 before until now. Even the most beautiful locations often have a few things against them. There isn't a single thing I could fault about the accommodation. We stayed in the treetops lodge and every single little detail is taken care of. The spa is magnificent even in winter and the bath inside the lodge is even nicer. The view from every part of the lodge is fantastic and there is complete privacy. The bed is so comfortable and the amenities are perfect. Simple things like having oil and spices for cooking, cereal and milk if you want a snack, premium body wash, sony tv, modern bathroom, beautiful fireplace and heating.
the grounds of the property are equally impressive. They are well manicured with the robot lawnmower doing it's job and local kangaroos visit in the afternoon.
The trip into twon is an easy 8 min drive and there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants.
And the owner Nick is so easy to deal with. We had to move our stay forward a day due to family commitments and he was so accommodating.
For couples and families I cant think of a better place to stay for a weekend. For us it was absolutely perfect."
