"I had such a wonderful stay here. The hotel is lovely and immaculate. The rooms had a private balcony. The staff was unbelievably welcoming to us ( we stayed there our first two nights in Tanzania). "Our stay at AMEG was fabulous. Staff were courteous and friendly. The food was outstanding and the junior suite gave us lots of room to spread out and relax. We used AMEG for a base to do day trips to Kilimanjaro including a day hike and back to the Mandura Huts and to the Materuni Village and Waterfall. "This is probably the nicest hotel in central Moshi for Europeans on their first trip to the region. You have to remember that this is Africa and things don't always work but on balance this is a good safe place to stay. Once lesson for us was we were pretty much the only Europeans in the town, trekkers and safari people tend to stay outside, so be prepared, this is a busy African town not a tourist place"
