Fantastic proprietor, excellent location, beautiful property, walking distance to many of the major attractions, shopping, and dining. The owners helped us with dinner options, shopping questions and arrange van service to our cruise port. Highly recommend this property.

I was looking for an affordable place for a solo traveler in Rome that wasn't a hostel, close to the city center. This was it. The service was nice, the location is great, and there are plenty of food options nearby. That said, this is a 3-star hotel and you get what you pay for here. There is no fridge (at least there wasn't in my room) or breakfast (or food of any kind), or laundry, or iron, etc. But I knew those things going in. It's a small, family-run hotel. The rooms are basic and the walls are thin. But at least the water pressure in the shower is nice! This is a good hotel if you mainly intend to use the room to sleep at night. Look elsewhere if you seek more accommodations that you may be used to at higher-end hotels.

This hotel was very average. Room was clean but dated and bathroom was looking tired. Woman at front desk wasn’t friendly or welcoming at all. No breakfast available yet the tables and chairs from a previous life line the hallway making the space tight. Worst part is they enter your room when out for the evening. I confronted them about it and they admitted it - “to turn the lights off”.

The staff were wonderful and the property was in a beautiful, safe area. Our room was plenty large and very comfortable. It felt completely different from previous experiences closer to the more touristy areas around the Colosseum and Forum. Rome is very walkable (although hilly for those from flat parts of the world) and we were able to see everything we wanted to from this hotel while not being stuck in a busy, loud, aggressive part of town.

Giuseppe and his family were wonderful, very welcoming, and extremely helpful. The hotel straddles a commercial and nice residential area near the Roman wall and US embassy. The neighborhood is very quiet at night and doesn't get too crowded during the day. Good local café nearby and restaurants. If you want more upscale dining, it is only a short walking distance. The location is easy for arranging taxis to pick up and drop off. I would certainly stay here again.

Staff was really helpful, and the hotel was exactly what we expected it to be--not fancy but safe, quiet, affordable, clean, and reasonably convenient. We were able to park on street near the hotel, and there are garages nearby, which is a plus if you have a rental and want to stash it somewhere rather than driving in Rome. It's a family-run European hotel so expect some stuff like them wanting to hold keys at the desk and keep tabs on your coming and going a bit. It's probably not the place for people coming to Rome to party through the night and return in the wee hours of the morning, but it was great for our trip.

A great small hotel in a good location. The family that runs the hotel were very helpful. They arranged our transportation from the airport to the hotel and everything ran smoothly. I had a text from the driver as soon as our plane landed, confirming the pickup spot.

This is a family owned and managed hotel and you are quickly welcomed into the family upon arrival. This is an authentic hotel with the look, care, and attention that used to be present in every hotel. Our room was large, well air conditioned, super clean, and cute. Giuseppe, the manager, is one of the finest gentlemen you will meet. He arranged for our transportation to/from the hotel and provided all sorts of local recommendations for food, attractions, etc. We waked from the hotel to every major historic site! If we came back to Rome, this is where we would stay.

Excellent hotel, loved my stay here. The staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that you need the assistance of staff to enter and leave the property. I never had a problem with this, but after midnight they require a call to a staffmember to be buzzed in. It would be nice if they could implement keycard controlled access, but the building may not allow for that. Again only issue, hotel is great.
