It's a private apartment in the residential and exclusive district Vatican-Aurelio, near Vatican City, surrounded by green with three terraces. Living room with fireplace (and extra sofa bed), bedroom with walk-in closet, kitchen, bathroom, parquet.
Staying at this penthouse is really unique and is not the same experience like booking an ordinary hotel room, or an Ikea-style mini-apartment conceived as a holiday-house, like hundreds else in Rome: it's my personal home where I have lived with my family for 15 years, and it is furnished and equipped as a real luxury home in Rome, with views overlooking St. Peter's Dome and Villa Pamphili.
It's a bright apartment on the top floor of an elegant building, decorated with antique furniture and paintings, also with a touch of modern art, antique mirrors, stone fireplace, mansard ceiling with chestnut beams. I have also added an exotic taste, with colours and decorations I brought back from my travels all around the world.
Three terraces assure privacy and livability, for an alfresco lunch or dinner, or for a relaxing moment reading your favourite book or taking a suntan, when having a break from exploring Rome.
The lounge and dining area are very charming and with a warm atmosphere. You also have a fireplace, but it is some time I don't turn it on, so I don't suggest to give it a try...
You can enjoy your meals in front of the view of St.Peter, or outside on the terrace, where you find teak armchairs and dining table.
The apartment occupies the whole floor, the space at disposal of guests is about 85sqmt, and consists of a living room (45sqmt) divided in different areas (two sofas with tv, libraries, three armchairs, dining table) with two equipped terraces and fireplace; bedroom with walk-in closet and terrace; a fully equipped kitchen; bathroom with shower and bathtub.
In the living room, on request, it is possible to prepare a single sofa bed for a third guest. The wide space allows to have the extra bed, not effecting the livability of the lounge common areas, like double sofas with tv and fireplace, libraries and dining area.

The apartment is located on the top floor of an elegant building. The elevator goes to the third floor, and to reach the apartment you have to climb the stairs on foot for two floors. Once there you can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of Rome.
