The apartment, located in the oldest area, within 15-20 minutes walk to many points of interest The apartment itself is spacious, however, furniture very worn and uncomfortable. There are two bedrooms/baths with one shower. The washer was great! The management staff friendly and accommodating.

Stay at this wonderful gem
We loved the property! It’s a beautiful, large, meandering property with lots of room to spread out. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were at opposite ends of the apartment. The decor was perfect, we felt we were in Italy! The view from the balconies was beautiful. The location can’t be beat. Restaurants and shops so close, the opera house , famous sites, the train and metro and bus stations so close. The property managers promptly answered our questions and arranged a pickup at the airport for us. Once orientated to the area we were easily able to take it from there. We spent Christmas in Rome and this apartment made it special!

The apartment was lovely and the host very responsive to our questions. We did have to pay 30 Euro for late checkin in (9 pm). The host also arranged transport from the airport to the apartment for 70 Euro. The apartment is close to the Collesum and 20 minutes to Trevi fountain.

Our Rome trip 9/16-9/19/23
This was our first time to Rome. The apartment was centrally located, clean and very comfortable. The owner lined up a driver when we landed to bring us to the apartment and met us there when we got there. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this VRBO.

Special apartment in good location, but not in a good condition
We stayed for a week with 2 person end of August 2023. The heat did not bother us due to the air condition in the main room and bedroom. The apartment has a good size and location in the city. With high ceiliings in a historic house with lift, it could be a five star location if it was better maintained. Unfortunately is is quite worn in general. E.g. dirty couch, toilet and shower courtain. Broken hooks in the bathroom, no coffee machine etc. which you can´t see on the pictures. We enjoyed our time in Rome anyway, but the apartment only deserves 3 stars.

Artistic getaway
What an incredible picturesque property in fabulous Monti! A short pleasant walk from Termini and a working elevator at the end - yay! Windows in every room that face onto a quiet street…cafes, restaurants, boutiques fill the neighborhood. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. I look forward to visiting again.

While the price for 2 adults and 2 children was the same as just 2 adults on Expedia. Once my refundable time limit was up , the property owners informed me that I’ll have to pay them directly, cash only, an extra 50 euro per child for the week I have booked. Great…… The guy who greeted us was very nice. The apartment is very dated, not like “cool ancient” furniture. More like find on the side of the road furniture. The carpet was old with stains. The temperature got down to the 40s every night (which is extremely cold for us Floridians). When I asked about the heater, I got excuses on why we didn’t need it. The remotes to the a/c units were removed also. So no heat, which my wife and I ended up getting really sick. Internet didn’t work, luckily they had a back up one for us. The refrigerator didn’t work, so all the food we bought went to waste. They said they were gonna send somebody to fix it. We ending up renting another apartment for a few days to get some heat, and when we got back, the fridge was still broken. The property is conveniently located, 15 mins or less of walking to get anywhere. Communication was great. The elevator worked, even though it’s extremely small. I’d personally never book here again, but you can give it a shot

Great location, lovely apartment!
Communication with our host Roberto was great! He even helped arrange a van transfer from the airport to the property. The Apartment is lovely and in a beautiful building. It is on the 4th floor and the lift is small however most of the time we didn’t mind taking the stairs. It’s close to both the metro station and termini train station which is great. The colosseum is only one metro stop away or a little over a 1km walk. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by. Our favourite gelato was on the corner of the block. The beds were quite firm but had lots of space. The wifi is quite slow and reception isn’t available through the whole apartment, however the views from the balcony made up for the complaints. Overall the apartment was great and exactly what we needed. We would definitely return!

Great house in a great neighborhood.
What a wonderful spot. Close to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and such much more. Nice to have A/C since it is warm in August. Great neighborhood with shopping and food all up and down the street and a sweet old Papal Basilica on the next block. Spacious and comfortable living room and main bedroom.

GREAT LOCATION!
The apartment is just steps away form Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore- a must see attraction- and only a few minutes from Termini train station, making it absolutely ideal for visitors. There are also lots of gelato places in the neighborhood! The apartment itself was clean had a fun layout for our teenagers, with a funky loft area. Lots of goodies in the kitchen for guests to enjoy. Roberto was a great communicator and met us at the apartment for an easy check in. I would highly recommend this apartment for visitors to Rome.

The apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot. And the rooftop terrace was over the top amazing! Yes, there are 3 flights of stairs, but every step eas worth it!

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The good, the bad and the ugly - First the good - the apartment is very close to the Roma Termini and Metro, which is very easy and convenient to all the attractions in Rome. The apartment itself is very spacious, with lots of windows. The bad - although the frescos are beautiful, the apartment is screaming - paint me. The furniture is old ... some of the coverings on the chairs had stains. The ugly - the mattress upstairs was like sleeping on a board -- either myself or my daughter could sleep on it. One of the only reasons I decided on the apartment was because it had two bedrooms, but the one bedroom upstairs was unusable because of the mattress, which could be easily fixed by buying a thick memory foam topper. Overall - we did have a nice stay.

Excellent Apartment in a Great Rome Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic apartment. It is very spacious and beautifully decorated. If you love historic buildings, you will love this apartment. Nice location for walking and transportation
This was a very unique and beautiful apartment. Six of us stayed comfortably. Beautiful Roman motif with painted murals on the walls and a cute loft area upstairs with room for two. The only negative was the VERY slow and VERY small elevator which only held two comfortably. More could be jammed in. The only other option was a walk up or down four flights of stairs. (the walk down wasn't too bad.) The kitchen was small, but manageable. We really only used it for quick breakfasts, and one dinner. The location was an easy walk to public transportation, and several tourist attractions. Wonderful restaurants and shops right across the street. Roberto was wonderful to work with. He was easy to get in touch with, and helped arranging transportation to the airport for us VERY early in the morning. The car was perfectly punctual. Would stay there again, gladly.

What a fabulous place. Very Comfortable.

Enjoyable stay!
We loved the location of this apartment. Close to many of the main attractions in Rome. Very close to the train station. We loved the big windows that we could open to let fresh air in. I have a bad back so the very firm mattresses were a little uncomfortable to me but if you enjoy a firmer mattress you won't have any issues. Roberto was pleasant to work with and extremely responsive to questions. We would stay here again!

Scusa Simone non capisco il motivo di questa tua recensione. L' appartamento è esattamente quello delle foto ed i servizi elencati sono tutti perfettamente funzionanti. Di preciso qual'è stato il tuo problema? Oltretutto durante il tuo soggiorno non mi hai mai contattato per qualcosa che non funzionasse o non andasse bene, nè durante il check-in mi hai fatto presente nulla (potevi farlo visto che parliamo anche la stessa lingua). Quindi permettimi ma la delusione è tutta mia!

Location was good
The good things about this apartment were the location, that there was a lift and a washing machine. The apartment itself was a two bedroom with one bedroom being up a small spiral staircase with a half bath. The furnishings were old and the pictures online were more flattering than the reality. We found it unusual for the host to ask us to pay him cash beyond a small deposit as all of our other 6 rentals were paid in advance by credit card. We understand we were in an old building in Rome and certainly didn't expect luxuary but a couple of small welcoming amenities would have been nice.

Nice apartment, good location, perfect place to stay for some days
We (3 of us) had a good time: the apartment has a good size and a good place to have a rest. A bit smaller than the pictures look like but a perfect size for 3-4 people. The apartment is nearby the central station, thus, it has a good location to discover Rome by foot and by public transport.

Great Location -- Great Property
The apartment was very clean and in an excellent location! Walking distance (1-3 miles) from major Rome attractions and easy access to the metro. Air conditioning was a definite plus in Rome in July. Quiet street with restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely spot but terrible shower that really ruined the experience
Great spot, good apartment but no water pressure once hot water eventually came through - seriously, 2 drops a minute from the shower rose. Made everyone grumpy and spoilt what would otherwise have been wonderful

Beautiful and great location
The apartment is both beautiful and huge. There were only 2 of us so we didn’t even use the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen is small, but it does have a full size refrigerator and a small 2 burner stovetop so quick meals were still manageable. The location is very convenient to almost all of the historic sites in Rome and there are a couple of very cool nearby streets that have plenty of patio dining. You almost cant go wrong with choices here. The apartment is easy walking distance to the train station. We arrived with far to much luggage but it was still easily managed walking from the train to the apartment. On the way home we walked to the train and took a train to the airport. This was much easier and much cheaper than taxis. The building has an elevator so stairs are not an issue. We stayed for 10 days and I would highly recommend this place for an extended stay in Rome.

Our stay was fantastic! The location was perfect in a neighborhood with good access to the historical heart of Rome but also in a neighborhood with great restaurants. Roberto was easy to converse with and had no problems with the English language. The apartment was clean and is very large, except for the kitchen which was small. This didn't bother us because all we did was eat breakfast there before starting our day. It is on the 5th floor with a small elevator. There is quite a bit of street noise until about 11pm, however, I don't think you will find anything in Rome that doesn't have street noise. It is 2 blocks from all the Hop-on/Hop-off buses (there are 4 or 5 companies in Rome) which is right by the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, about 15 min walk from the colosseum, about 1 mile from Trevi fountain and in a very good area. There are at least 30 restaurants within a 2 to 4 block radius of the apartment, along with several grocery stores. We felt very safe walking at all hours of the day and night. The taxi's to the airport are capped at 48 euros and are very prompt when scheduled. I think this would be a very good place to stay. If you have a vehicle, parking on the street is difficult, however, there is a garage 3 1/2 blocks away which charges 25-30 euros/day.

Nice area in Rome
The property was in a great location. The two bathrooms were very clean and beneficial to my family of 4. We would have enjoyed a more comfortable mattress in the loft area. Also, the dining table cloth was very dirty! It might be a great idea to wash or replace it. It was a pleasure to meet Roberto, who was very kind and offered assistance with restaurants and transportation.

Original appartment in a great location
Within easy walking distance of Termini train station and the Coloseum this appartment as two separate washrooms. The decor is original with it's painted frescos, very high brick vaulted cealings and giant chandeleer. Round dining table is great but kitchen is small good for breakfast and take out meals (we did pizza and pasta). We found the simple little italian restaurant Oro somthing.. just below the balcony great when you are tired and want something close. Don't expect something new, it's an older appartment with charm. We were a small family of 3.

Cool apartment in great location
This is a lovely apartment in a great area. You're close to touristy areas, without the neighbourhood being 'overly touristy'. It was an easy ten minute walk to colliseum, Forum Romanum, bars and restaurants, and Termini, only slightly further. There was plenty of room for a family of four. The kitchen area wasn't very big, but there was a large fridge freezer, and it easily did the job for snacks and breakfast. There was a second bathroom with a washing machine which was super useful. We really enjoyed staying here and would happily recommend it.
