The owner of the property went above any expectation: kind, helpful, discrete. The place was furnished very well, anything you would want, with any plug adapter for any foreign traveler. I recommend Albis Room Guest House to anybody, especially because the location is also 5 minutes for the Fiumicino airport.

We expected a pleasant and comfortable stay here for our one night as we got in to Rome airport late and were heading out again early the following afternoon. While the reviews were very high, Roberta and Armando far exceeded expectations from the time we arrived. Extremely warm and helpful, they made the first night and morning of our trip very enjoyable and memorable. A fantastic start to our vacation. Almost forgot to mention: room and premises very clean and bed super comfortable, slept great.

Felt like family!!
What an amazing stay at Albis! Felt like I was staying with family, and the rooms are spacious & VERY clean/new/updated. Quick walk into Fiumicino - which is a lovely town. Lastly, we were given a delicious take-away breakfast for the flight home:)

Great stay to cap off our first visit to Italy
From the moment we arrived, we were spoiled! Armando and Roberta greeted us and treated us like family. They helped arrange us a cab for an early travel day the next day & made sure that I knew the safest way to walk across the bridge into town and explore. They even included amenities such as slippers - and fully stocked the fridge with drinks & snacks - all complimentary! The shower was wonderful - bathroom clean. The bed comfortable (and we are picky when it comes to mattresses); and I just can't express enough how much this was perfect for us. I hope that we get a chance to stay here again - highly recommend it!

This is my new favorite hotels in Rome. That says slot because I have stayed at some of Rome’s best hotels. The hosts were beyond fantastic. They made sure everything was perfect. This felt more like staying at a close family member’s house with a fully air conditioned and well equipped and stocked room. Cleanliness was 10 out of 10. Fiumicino old town is not to be missed—old time Rome. Thank you so very much and will return.

A good stay starts with people and we felt welcomed into this unusual place even before we got there by the owners Armando and Roberta. The place is close to the airport and a short walk to the very real community of Fiumicino, with a lovely promenade where the Tiber meets the sea, incredible pizza and fine dining.

Our hosts were absolutely amazing ,very kind, thoughtful and caring..Our comfort was clearly the top priority. We read the reviews prior to booking which in fact reflected our same positive experience.Every detail was taken care . Convenient and close to the airport for immediate travel was what we needed for a short stay. Very clean, with all the amenities you need. Husband/wife owners are very friendly and accommodating. Location is a bit random but walkable to restaurants. Great for a quick overnight before a flight.

Just perfect.
The best ever , we felt like family and know we will always return. Armando and Roberta care so much, it’s clear from the interactions we had from where to eat locally or even checking in is on our return home. One night Roberta did blow us a kiss good nite as we settled back coming in from dinner, was lovely and very comforting. The property was so clean and fresh, our room felt new and spacious, comfortable bed, pillows and all bedding and towels were of quality. Can’t fault anything, book this property with confidence, we will.

We made a very last minute reservation for the night before a flight out of FCO. We were not certain what to expect- not only were we very happy but the couple who own the property went way above and beyond. They were so gracious, truly welcoming and kind. The room was spotless, all the amenities we needed, very comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at a place they recommended which was an easy walk. They arranged our taxi back to the airport and it was seamless. We left for an early flight and she had a lovely picnic breakfast for us with sandwiches, fruit and delicious homemade cake. We felt so taken care of during our brief stay. We can't say enough how wonderful the owners are to their guests. We will certainly stay here again the night before an early flight out of Rome! Lovely stay
We had a lovely 1 night stay at Albis Rooms. The couple who owns the place were very kind and lovable, sharing tips and making a fantastic self-made breakfast for us to bring to the airport. Also Fiumicino is a terrific little town with lively and good restaurants with excellent seafood.

A hidden gem
Lovely family owned and run hotel. Such great people, helpful, attentive and friendly. Our room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. My wife and myself slept soundly. I would definitely stay here again as suppose to the the multi national hotel chains who don’t care a jot about you.

What a great place to stay. Only a few minutes from Fuimicino airport. The owners couldn't do enough to look after us. Good sized, clean room only 5 minute walk from Fuimicino town centre with some great bars and restaurants, especially if you like your see food. Definitely stay there again.

Best Hospitality Ever
During our two-week tour of Italy, we stayed at seven hotels. Abis Rooms Guest House was, by far, the best. We stayed in large, fancy places in Florence and Naples, but this owners of this cozy place in Fiumicino made us feel welcome. They went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one, from meeting us at the car with and umbrella, to carrying our luggage, to providing a great room with outstanding amenities, not found at any of the other hotels. And the price was very reasonable. We should have found this gem sooner!

A wonderful place to stay, close to the airport, before an early flight the next morning. We were greeted by the owners, who ensured we had everything we needed (including a complementary bottle of wine and lots of treats!). They tried to reserve a taxi for us for the next morning, but when none were available that would take credit cards, they drove us to the airport at 5 am! Thanks so much!

The hosts were very nice! They made arrangements for the taxi we would need to get to the airport the following morning. They also gave us a very nice bag of treats to take with us in the morning since our early flight did not allow us to enjoy the breakfast. We would stay here again! Quiet, Clean, Overall Great Stay
We had a brief stay at Albis Rooms. It was very well accommodated and located close to the airport (though not walking distance). The hosts were very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us once we arrived and sent us with snacks for the airport. We took a bus to the airport upon arrival (prior to an early morning departure at FCO) and after a long 7 hours of travel from south Italy the day before we departed, we had issues with the taxis. It took over 2 hours to get a local taxi (different than the Rome city taxis). We tried using the Free Now app after several people recommended it to us. It does not work at the airport. They will send cars to you, and they will ask where you are going and drive off once they realize it is in Fiumicino. We found the local taxi stand after being told wrong by two people, and the one man there tried to charge us 50 euros to go to the guest house. We got frustrated and waited awhile before coming back and getting a different driver who charged 25 euros, took 25 minutes to drive us because we had to share the taxi with four others, and then misses the house and drove back across town. Just helpful to know if you are weighing costs - you should anticipate spending about 50 euro just going 10 minutes to the airport and back.

Clean, with Wonderful Husband & Wife Owners
Felt like it was recently rennovated. Very clean and updated. The owners (husband and wife) were absolutely wonderful. THey took time to greet us (we arrived late at night) and gave great assistance with cabs, dinner recommendations, etc.). The nearby town is an easy walk and was very cute. We went there to stroll along the riverside and dine at a cafe. Would highly recommend.

The owners have thought of everything a traveler needs. The bathroom is stocked with toiletries and the fridge with beverages. The owner was up at 3:45 am, when we had to leave for our early flight, to make sure we got our taxi that they helped booked for us. They even gave us a to-go bag of breakfast treats to take with us. You can tell they are good people that care. Would stay there again for sure.

This turned out to be the perfect place for the 3 of us to stay prior to our morning flight out of the Rome (FCO) airport. The room was modern, neat, and clean as well as packed with amenities. In fact, of all the places we stayed in Italy, this was the only one that provided a 115 V wall outlet in the bathroom and a multi-port (220 V) USB charger for our mobile devices.There is even a McDonalds in walking distance, which was a welcome relief for our final dinner in Italy after 10 days of pasta and olive oil. The refreshments provided in the refrigerator and the carry-out breakfast/snack bag our hosts provided included some wonderful treats. It was only a 10-minute cab ride from the guest house to the airport, and considerably less expensive than area hotels. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience
It is a great hotel. The location of this hotel is perfect, not far from Leonardo airport. Roberta was so sweet. She greeted me as if I was part of her family. I was impressed with the room and all the details. Nice toiletries better than 5 star hotel. Very happy and satisfied. I will definently return and will recommend this hotel.
