This place was excellent! Fit our family of 5. Was close to metro, Vatican was 1 min walk from apartment. Great dining options nearby. Host was very communicative and offered help, recommendations and private taxi from airport. Fully functional kitchen and laundry was a great help with little kids. Highly recommend!

The host Giovanna is extremely hospitable. Helped us with all our needs. The apartment is beautiful and looks better than the pictures. We are a family of 5, two adults, 15, 12, and 10 year children and found it extremely comfortable. There are two grocery stores nearby. He has a washing machine, no dryer but you can get laundry service for 15 euros nearby. Giovanna helped us with this. This way you don't have to wait. The Vatican is right in front of you. You have views of it from the windows. Rome city center is a 35 min walk and Testevre is about the same the other direction. I would suggest taking the metro or uber. Other than that It's perfect. I would highly recommend this place.

Great apartment and location

Our booking process, all the way to being welcomed at the apartment (even very late due to flight delay) were without any problems. Property manager (Giovanni) was fantastic, great communications, and apartment was accommodating. Apartment was close to The Vatican. We would not have changed a thing. Gratzie and Arrivederci!

Lovely flat and really nice owner

We went to Rome in September and had very nice time, because of the people, food, sightseeing and because of the apartment that we stayed in! It was sunny, cozy and clean! The location was near Vatican and we had laptop and internet connection for free! It has good bus and subway connection to all the main attractions in Rome, so if we were too tired to walk - we just use a public transport. The apartment is same as shown on the pictures - nice colors and lots of space for 3 people. We had come by airplane late in the evening! We were concerned about reaching the apartment in that time - but the owner Giovanni came in the city center by car and took us to the apartment, explained us everything and showed great hospitality! We would definitely recommend Valentina apartment in Rome!

Stay in Rome

Location was great and the apartment was clean and easy to access but the electricity was a big problem. Giovanni warned us about it upon check in but we didn't realize how inconvenient it would be. We couldn't run the washing machine without having to turn off both air conditioning units. We tried different combinations and had the circuit turn off several times. Other than the electrical problem, the apartment was a nice place to stay if you want to be close to the Vatican.

Lovely flat near Vatican

This is a very well located and well equipped apartment, just a short walk from the Vatican in Prati. Lots of good places to eat and drink nearby too.

Wonderful Roma apartment close to Vatican City!

We stayed at this wonderful Roma apartment for five days in July. The owner Giovanni greeted us upon our arrival. He is a wonderful host as he took the time to review the apartment. He also had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us (nice touch!) The apartment was roomy and very comfortable for me, my husband and two teenage children. It had many amenities- nice beds, kitchen utensils, washing machine, bags for groceries, and much more. It has air conditioning which was so needed during our "siesta" since the weather was hot during our visit. Most importantly, the apartment located in a nice neighborhood and super quick walk to the Vatican Museum entrance (highly recommend doing the "Breakfast at the Vatican- worth the splurge!) There is a grocery store next to the apartment as well as many restaurants and cafes. The metro stop is a five minute walk which was great since we toured all over the city. This is truly a wonderful apartment that I highly recommend you stay at!!

Excellent! Great location and fabulous little apartment with views of the Vatican.

Giovanni arranged everything for us from getting a ride to the airport and was available whenever we had any questions. He had a beautiful bottle of wine for us. Location was fantastic and apartment spotless.

Convenient and welcoming

Giovanni made our trip! ..... he did everything from arrange a driver to meet us at the airport to making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was so convenient for sightseeing .... the metro is only a few blocks away, the Vatican Museum entrance is less than a block from the door and there are restaurants, shops and markets all around. The apartment itself was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed (even a nice bottle of wine) ..... Thank you Giovanni!

Perfect for a brief stay!

Warm and cozy, this small apartment has plenty of light and is superbly located. Best pizza just down the stairs. Quick walk to Travestere. Highly recommended!

Die Lage und die Aussicht war super. Aber die reinlichkeit läßt zu wünschen übrig.

Der Kühlschrank war total verdreckt und die Dusche hätte eine komplett sarnierung notwendig. Der Spülkasten spritzte von oben auf die Toilette. Die Wohnung war bei der Übergabe auf jeden Fall nich grundgereinigt. Da sollte sich dringend ändern.

Great apartment

After two days of traveling it was so helpful to have a ride from the airport to the apartment arranged by Giovanni. We were greeted at the door by Giovanni and were given a great orientation to the apartment and the nearby market. After Giovanni left he came back to let us know the market was still open late in the evening. We were able to stock up our kitchen right away. The kitchen is great, stocked with basic condiments that make it easy to cook meals. The living room and bedroom are large and comfortable. How nice to open the windows and have a charming view of a church bell tower and the museum. Everything about the apartment was comfortable and welcoming. We especially appreciated the bottle of wine Giovanni left us. There are lots of helpful information books for planning day trips in the living room. The subway station is a short walk away. We will recommend this apartment to other travelers in the future.

Great place ! I really recommend it.

The flat perfectly fits with the photos. It is nicely decorated, well equiped and nice to live. Giovanni takes care about our transfer from Airport to the flat and same for the way back. All places of interest are within walking distance. At least, there is subway stations nearby. We loved the 3 days we spend in Roma and for sure we will come back again ! We recommend you this flat without any hesitations.

The Perfect Rome Apartment

A few days ago we arrived home from what was the best vacation we've ever had in Italy. A good part of our enjoyment was this lovely, roomy apartment. When we're on vacation, it is very important to us to have a comfortable space that we can regularly come back to, especially after an exhausting morning or afternoon of sightseeing. Overall, the apartment was attractive and well-furnished, the kitchen well-equipped, and the bed very comfortable. The apartment location was great for us, as well - close to St. Peter's and the Vatican, and close to the metro. A real bonus for us was having a grocery store just a few doors away. The owner was friendly and very helpful, and from our first inquiry always responded very quickly. We will definitely try to book this apartment the next time we have plans to travel again to Rome.

Alloggio luminoso e silenzioso, posizione ideale per musei vaticani e San Pietro

Proprietario cordiale, bottiglia di vino di benvenuto, nell'alloggio non mancava nulla x la cucina non abbiamo dovuto acquistare oli e spezie caffè ecc. era tutto già a disposizione. Anche prodotti per bagno e pulizia. Grazie di tutto sig. Giovanni!

Amazing Views and Great Location

We chose this apartment because of the high reviews and a friend recommended it. We were not disappointed! The view is amazing. We woke up to bells ringing and the Vatican across the street and it was one of our favorite parts of staying in Roma. The bathroom is narrow but that's to be expected in Roma. There is a washing machine and everything we needed for a comfortable stay including detergent, soap, shampoo and extra toilet paper. These are not always included in apartments like this and we were pleasantly surprised! Giovanni was very easy to work with. He responded quickly to my emails and set up a driver to meet us at the airport to deliver us to the apartment. There are two grocery stores, one just a few buildings down and another across the street and half a block down. The metro is a very easy walk, just go to the left to the end of the block, walk down that block and cross the street and it's there about 2-3 blocks down. Easy walk for our family of five (three kids ages 10, 8, 5) We used the metro all over Roma. There are several good places to eat - go down a block further away from the Vatican and to the left and find the pizza place with a red awning - excellent pizza, cheap and a cozy atmosphere. Awesome gelato is a quick walk away - Old Bridge at Viale dei Bastioni Di Michelangelo, 5, 00192 Roma, Italy - very reasonable prices and huge portions. Try the Bacia - it was everyone's favorite! I have already shared the link with a couple of friends and anticipate sharing more. If we ever find our way back to Roma then we will stay here :-)
