Everything is awesome!
Nice location,close to the Vatican city and centre of Rome is at walking distance too. Owner's recommendation on local shops and restaurants around the area are great. Perfect for those who do not want to stay at the centre or in too touristy places.

Perfect for a quick overnight or an extended stay. Kitchenette to cook or around the block to the restaurants and shopping. Host was excellent and super helpful with maps and suggestions. Very safe. Great stay. Will definitely stay again.

Absolutely fantastic and beautiful place to stay. Stefano was a fantastic host and provided us with a detailed map and highlighted key places to visit based on our conversation with him, his English was fantastic (which was good as my Italian is shocking!). Stefano was always contactable and we saw him a few time within the building over the 5 days we stayed. Highly recommend Cassiodoro 19 if you want to be close to the centre and like walking and exploring.

A charming gem in Roma!
We had a wonderful stay at Stèfano’s place. I would 100% stay here again when visiting Rome in the future. It was in a quiet residential part of town, but within walking distance to all the major sights. Beds were comfortable, rooms were cozy & clean. I absolutely loved the charm & character of this place. Stèfano’s recommendations of restaurants & places to go were all wonderful & very helpful for our short stay there. I would highly recommend his accommodations. Thank you for everything Stèfano!

Perfect Place in Rome, Prati
We had an amazing experience at Cassiodoro 19 during our stay in Rome. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Stefano, the owner, was incredibly kind and sweet, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was beautifully appointed, and everything was in impeccable condition. Outstanding welcome
We arrived late, but were welcomed and check in was easy. I was low on cash, and I couldn’t get to a bank machine and still get to the nearby market before it closed. Stefano gave me €20 Euros to get what I needed! Service above and beyond!

Muy cerca del Vaticano y del centro de Roma, te puedes mover andando con facilidad. A un minuto hay un bus que va al aeropuerto Fiumicino. El apartamento es cómodo, acogedor y se descansa tranquilo sin ruidos. Nos dejaron hacer el checkin antes de tiempo. Muy amables con recomendaciones locales

We have just returned from a family mini-break in Rome. Can highly recommend Cassiodoro19 for an ‘authentic’ experience of living in Rome (not just staying in some overpriced and sterile hotel in the centre). As other guests have mentioned, Stefano is the consummate host, passionate about his city and full of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to see. Rooms are quiet and well appointed (with the needed AC) - close to the Vatican City in Prati, a perfect distance to the Vatican and main sights within the city of Rome city itself. You won’t be disappointed 👍🇮🇹

Welcoming quiet base to explore a beautiful city
Highly recommend staying here. It's centrally located to all the major tourist sites but in a lovely, quiet, residential area with lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. Stefanos place is very clean and well equipped and he prides himself on providing a huge amount of information to guests to enable them to have a fabulous stay in Rome. The map he provided was invaluable on our trip and meant that we could start to explore the city the moment we arrived - essential as we were only staying for a few days. If you are looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay, I would highly recommend staying at Stefanos. It was just perfect for our first stay in Rome and I hope it won't be our last.

The room had a small kitchen that allowed us to have some basic foods available between enjoying fantastic local restaurants. Stephan is a fantastic host. He helped us get from the airport to the hotel then sat with us marking a map of the many nearby attractions and his favorite restaurants. He was very helpful in making our visit to Rome memorable.
