Location … Location … Location!
This small guesthouse is perfectly located to explore The Vatican and other local sites: the Vatican Museum is literally outside your bedroom window and St Peter's Basilica is a 10 minute walk away. Accommodation is a group of three private bedrooms each with ensuite toilets and showers: it is sparkling clean and the bed was most comfortable. Ernesto and Paola are the perfect hosts: they serve a light breakfast of coffee and fresh pastry in their shared kitchen and are available to answer your every need. Thanks to these gracious hosts for a perfect first visit to Rome!

My Bed Vatican Museum was an awesome place to stay whilst in Rome. We did 2 x 2night stays before and after a cruise. The location was convenient to everything and walking distance to all the major sight seeing attractions. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable with views of the Vatican City directly across the road. The most impressive thing about this accommodation was the awesome hosts - Ernesto & Paola, they are amazing. On hand to provide assistance with getting around Rome and providing a delicious breakfast every morning, fresh croissants, great coffee and much more. We loved our stay with Ernesto & Paola. Awesome place to stay when in Rome.

We enjoyed our time at My Bed Vatican Museum where we stayed for 5 days. The hotel is located in close proximity to the Vatican, so that alone was a plus. The room was spacious and well maintained. A light breakfast was complimentary, so that helped us get our day started. The owners, Ernesto and Paola were so friendly and welcoming to us. Their hospitality is exceptional! Ernesto gave us great tips on where to go and how to get there and Paola was a delight to talk to! I would definitely stay at "My Bed Vatican" again. J & J from West Palm Beach, Florida Stayed from June 8-June 11 & June 14-June 15 , 2023.

Our family had one evening in Rome prior to our Vatican tour. Wow! We lucked out. This location is primo! We walked out the front door and our tour started 50 feet away. Talk about convenient. We also scored a parking space directly at the front door. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Room and accommodations were great. Ernesto met us for check in and was so kind. He gave us a map, recommendations and tour of all amenities of the apartment. We went with his dinner recommendation and had the BEST meal of our entire trip. We’ve been traveling France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland prior to Italy. The food and service were top notch. Loved our stay and hope to visit again one day. We were visiting from South Carolina, USA ♥️🇺🇸♥️🇮🇹♥️

This is absolutely the place to stay in Rome. Ernesto and Paola made us very welcome and are fabulous hosts. The property is right across from the entrance to the Vatican and just a short metro ride to all of Romes attractions. Ernesto made sure we knew where everything was located and gave us a map too with recommendations of where to go and where to eat. All were excellent and they made us feel like we have a second home with them in Rome. Do not overlook this place, it is personable and everything we could have expected and more!!

We were referred to my Vatican Museum by a family friend who recommend it. We were greeted by Ernesto with warmth the day we arrived. He was informative, offered recommendations for local dining options, and let us know he was available anytime we needed it. Every morning we got coffee and croissants. During breakfast, we will chat with Ernesto and his wife who offered any assistance we need. We decided to extend our stay and Ernesto had no availability but he made arrangements for us to stay close by. The location is across the street from the Vatican & local shops and walking distance to the major beautiful historic sites Rome has to offer. Staying at My Vatican Museum made it more special & memorable with the hospitality Ernesto and his family offered.

Viel mehr als nur ein Zimmer!
Deutlich mehr als ein B&B, schon im Vorfeld super Kommunikation und Abholung vom Flughafen (zu sehr fairen Konditionen), Zimmer und Ausstattung für ein B&B sehr ansprechend. Paola und Ernesto kümmern sich ungemein zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und höflich um beinah alles. Sehr gut Restaurant Empfehlungen waren auch super hilfreich. Dazu kommt dann natürlich die exzellente Lage mit Blick auf den Eingang der vatikanischen Museen. Wenn man nach ein paar Stunden in den Museen im Anschluss einfach schnell in seinem Zimmer verschwinden kann ist das fast schon Luxus. Kurz um klare Empfehlung!

Ernesto and Paula host a terrific B&B for travel in Rome. Directly across the street from the Vatican Museums entrance. A short Metro ride to other attractions such as the Colloseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Room was spacious and clean. A communal kitchen area which came in handy. Ernesto and Paula were very accommodating with maps and advice/recommendations for restaurants. The light breakast was delicious along with great conversation!! Would definitely return 😊 Fabulous hosts!!

Great B&B with very helpful owners
We had a great stay here. It is a B&B with great owners that take good care of the guests. The continental breakfast is good and is served with excellent service by the owner. The owner does a great job in giving recommendations for restaurants, site seeing, and any needed services such as laundry or forex needs. The location is excellent right next to the Vatican with just a ten minute walk to the Metro trains.

Owners are very welcoming, courteous, and helpful. Got out map and made great suggestions for nearby points of interest, restaurants and transportation. Hotel is just feet from Vatican Museum entrance/exit. Easy walk to Metro, the Tiber River, numerous restaurants. Close to two grocery stores. Breakfast served every morning with fresh croissants and cappuccino. Would stay there again!

I really enjoyed staying with Ernesto and Paula! Very nice people and the accommodation is pretty centralized! As a black woman traveling alone, I felt really safe and welcomed. Ernesto and Paula are great hostes, they treat you like family and always make sure you have what you need. They send you a text everynight just to see if everything is ok.Now this property is very well located. Is prime spot if you want to stay close to vatican, is literally across the street. There is a metro station that you can take to other sites like, Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Trastevere and many more. There is also many good restaurants nearby to have lunch or dinner, there is also a produce market close by where you can by fresh fruit, vegetables or even a bottle of wine for cheap. This is an excellent spot I highly recomend it.

A home away from home
Ernesto and wife were splendid, from the start it felt like visiting old friends in Rome, their place is very nice, clean and comfortable (best mattress by far in our entire trip!). Being next to the Vatican and to lively streets with great restaurants made it very easy for us to enjoy the city (Ernesto and his wife gave us great dining recommendations and hinted us about key places to visit). We definitively recommend it, and last but not least, the ride they offer to the airport is competitive and gives you the chance to have that last chat with friendly Ernesto!

Best place to stay in time
This was one of my favorite places to stay in Roma. I have been several times. It is right where you enter for tours of the Vatican. The owner is amazing and very American friendly. I will stay here on my next trip. The cost is beyond reasonable and you could not ask for a better staff. I love supporting small businesses and this is one hard working staff. Breakfast good, helps you with Italian planning and so kind in communication. In expensive shuttle from airport and the rooms are moderate/clean.

Paola und Ernesto waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Sie haben uns für sechs Tage in ihre Familie aufgenommen. Danke für die liebevolle Betreuung. Das Zimmer war schön und hell, die Lage wirklich gut. 7 Minuten zu der einen U-Bahnstation, 10 Minuten zu anderen. Und nah am Vatikan.

Ernesto and his wife are by far some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They will go above and beyond to meet your needs with so much warmth and sincerity. We had the most perfect vacation! The B&B was amazing thanks to Ernesto & Paola...they are the best. The place was very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home from the first minute we got there. We spent 10 days here and we don't have a single thing to say that isn't good! We are planning to return to Rome in a few years and are definitely going to stay here again.

This was a phenomenal stay! We’d not planned to return to Rome, but now we feel that we are friends with Ernesto & Paola, Valentina, & Nona. As my 18-year-old daughter said “We *must* come back!” The connection with them made the stay memorable, because we wanted to get to know them. There were other guests who didn’t interact so much, so each guest gets to choose what they like as far as interaction. A good example of the great service that was so enjoyable to us was when we needed a new suitcase (failed zipper). Ernesto walked us to a tiny, neighborhood store, and then negotiated a special price for us below what we’d agreed to pay. (Nice surprise.). And then we wanted to go to what we would call a grocery store: so charming & fascinating. Of course, we were in Rome to see the big sights, and the view and location of My Bed Vatican Museum was perfect! Easy and beautiful walks to Vatican, San Pietro, Borgo Pio, Castle San Angelo, Ancient Rome. Quiet & so comfortable at night for peaceful sleeping, great restaurant referrals. Especially for Americans & Canadians, you will be delighted by the kindness & hospitality, the humorous customs, the Italian exclamations of “Mama Mia!”. In my opinion, this type of interaction with the locals is the most fun & delightful part of the entire trip.
