「I have stayed a few times over the years and i think its a great value pub with rooms i stayed 3 nights and my room was good as always, the team were all good and i would recommend to friends and family without hesitation.」

「傳統的英國鄉村旅館，餐食比預期中的美味，感覺上餐廳的評價比客房住宿的部分還高。」

「Nice hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our stay」

「The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton.」

「Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. 「Loved the nautical theme as a sailor, very well furnished room and in the room "if you can eat it or drink it, it's free"! Would stay again for sure.」

「Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions」

「The property was kept warm at all times and a good breakfast choice was offered. There was a good choice of evening meals. The only criticism was the noise of doors banging which caused the fabric of the building to shake. On a positive note the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The bedroom was always kept clean and the bed was comfortable. The car park was good and there were ample spaces. I would certainly visit again.」

「Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend」

「I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.」

「Sweet well designed and decorated rooms」

「L’ambiance du pub, accueillant.」

「Very welcoming with helpful and friendly staff. Good and varied dinner menu and a good choice selection of cooked or light breakfast. Location is out of the way down narrow lanes but the pretty village setting is both quiet and peaceful.」

「Nice place to stay over where you can enjoy a pint and a meal!!」
