Property Summary:
La Gioia, a renovated, detached villa surrounded by trees, offers a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and the UNESCO cultural heritage site - the Brissago Islands in Ascona, Switzerland. This vacation rental features a beautiful garden, a heated swimming pool with a poolhouse, patio, pergola, terrace, and barbecue area. It also provides internet access, an elevator, and parking at the house. Amenities such as linen and towel change, room cleaning, house maid service, bread roll delivery, beverage service, breakfast, and pre-arrival grocery service are available upon request for an additional charge.

Outdoors:
Enjoy the shared beautiful garden, perfect for relaxation. The angular heated swimming pool (3 x 4 m, depth 160 - 160 cm, seasonal availability: 01.May. - 30.Oct.) has an internal staircase and shutter cover, along with an outdoor shower, poolhouse with a fridge and WC, patio, pergola, terrace, and barbecue area.

Other Information:
The property is situated in a quiet, sunny, elevated residential area with villas, offering a south-facing position. It is not suitable for children under 14 years old. The owner does not accept groups or youth groups. A 24-hour guard is present, and the owner resides in a separate semi-detached house. Additional accommodations can be booked, such as Property ref. CH6622.66, located on the same property. Airport transfer to the holiday rental is available upon request.

Distances and Attractions:
The property is located 4 km from Ascona and offers easy access to nearby attractions like Piazza Grande Locarno, Isole di Brissago, and Mercato Cannobio IT. Well-known lakes such as Lago Maggiore, Lago di Lugano, and Lago di Como are also within reach. Popular hiking trails include Cardada, Vallemaggia, Valle Verzasca, and Centovalli. The Termali Salini & Spa Locarno thermal baths are 6.7 km away, and a golf course (18 holes) is 5 km from the property. A car is recommended for convenience.

You will find the Grand Suite, a 2-room apartment, to be spacious and bright, fully renovated in 2022 with luxurious and stylish furnishings. It features an open large living/dining room with a panoramic window, a dining table, cable TV, international TV channels on a flat screen, radio, and air conditioning. The living/dining room has an exit to the terrace. There is 1 large double bedroom with a panoramic window, a double bed measuring 2 x 100 cm and 200 cm in length, a shower/WC, double hand-basin, and air conditioning. The bedroom also has an exit to the terrace. The apartment includes a large, open kitchen equipped with an oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso), and a combination microwave. Additionally, there is another shower/WC and underfloor heating throughout the unit.

Amenities Included
The Grand Suite offers a range of amenities to enhance your vacation experience. It has 2 large terraces, partly covered, with terrace furniture, a barbecue, deck chairs (2), and a sitting area. You can enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the lake, mountains, and countryside from the terraces. Other amenities provided include a hair dryer and internet (DSL/LAN, free). Please note that the property is not suitable for children under 14 years, and it is a non-smoking unit.

Absolutely fantastic

As a regular Vrbo user, we often find places less appealing than the pictures. This place is the opposite. It’s stunning, elegant, classy, clean everything one could ask for. We are hesitant has to recommend it because we want to come back and hope it’s not booked. You can not go wrong here.
