House was very nice and clean, with towels and blankets available from the property owner and the property owner was very quick in responding to some of the questions we had. Only issue was the next morning, there had been an ice storm and we were unable to get out of the driveway due to the ice. However, it wasn’t the homeowners fault at all and the home owner was very understanding, they allowed us to go back inside while we were waiting for help to……

“Loved open space living area , living room with large sectional reclining sofa opened to a moderately stocked kitchen & large table for eating & playing games. Two baths, two bedrooms with king size beds & third bedroom with two queens - though mattresses need replacing on some beds. TV’s in every room. (BYO streaming device) House was very quiet & clean! Great place, nice weekend! ”

“Overall, A! Great, accommodating host and wonderful property. We couldn't find the tetris set BUT an amazing game room, big tv, great accommodations, and a great atmosphere made up for it! This family of four will be back. Very close proximity to South Higgins Lake and many trails. Make sure you bring firewood and dryer sheets, if needed!”

“Host tried to charge additional cleaning fee after booking was completed and confirmed through VRBO. Accommodations were dated and not as clean as compared to other VRBO accommodations we have rented. Mind you, it wasn’t full on dirty, it just was a bit dingy, and a cup with a partially consumed beverage was left on an end table. If something as obvious as that was not cleaned up, it leads me to wonder how often they are mopping floors, etc. ”

“This cottage was just darling! Nice furnishings and cute decor. Well-equipped kitchen as well as grill, fire ring and seating. Short drive to Higgins Lake and restaurant options. Responsive and friendly host. We will no doubt return!”
