The Barnhouse: a beautiful cottage in the converted stables of an old farmhouse
The Barnhouse is a beautifully converted old stable in our beautiful farm in Bergambacht. The space is a separate home with its own (simple) kitchen and a spacious sitting room. In addition, the house has a very large attractive sleeping loft (50 m2) with a spacious seating area with beautiful views, and a spacious comfortable double bed. On request, a maximum of 3 beds can be placed below or above. A large garden and a terrace adjoin the Barnhouse. From the Barnhouse you have a beautiful view over the meadows!
The Barnhouse is super centrally located in the middle between Bergambacht and Schoonhoven. You can be there in a few minutes by bike and car. With 20 minutes you are in Rotterdam, Gouda and Utrecht. The supermarkets are open 7 days a week. The shops are sometimes open on Sundays but not always. In Utrecht and Rotterdam, all stores are open 7 days a week.
The Barnhouse has its own kitchen and you can do your own shopping and cook food. do you like it if we provide a filled fridge? Let us know and we will arrange it for you !!
We think it is very nice to let you enjoy our beautiful Barnhouse and the surroundings. During the day we work and we take care of our 3 children and 2 cats. If you have any questions you can always call or app us and we will be happy to help you.
If you want to use our bikes, we ask you to check availability with us in advance and to reserve it. We ask a small fee for this, depending on the number of days you want to rent.
Tourist tax in Bergambacht is E2.52 p. p. per night

Great location if you enjoy being away from the crowds.
Beautiful area if you enjoy biking and exploring the countryside. The accommodations have everything you need to be self sufficient and are a central location for day trips into major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or the Hague, however a car rental is likely a necessity.

A Calm & Relaxed Barn House
When we arrived Corina had done some grocery shopping for us which included a bottle of red as well as a bottle of white wine.
We appreciated this so much. We had trouble with the wifi and Corina was constantly in touch from her vacation location asking how things were going. Wilma who was looking after the property in Corina's absence was great in helping us out.
The property has lots of room but sleeps only 3. It could use a deep cleaning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Holländisches Landleben von seiner schönsten Seite
Wir haben uns in der sehr geräumigen Ferienwohnung mit dem großen umliegenden Grundstück und den Vermietern in direkter Nachbarschaft sehr wohlgefühlt. Uns hat auf der einen Seite die Lage fernab vom Massentourismus sehr gefallen; auf der anderen Seite waren kleine und größere, kulturell und historisch interessante Orte gut zu erreichen, so daß die Tage dort sehr erholsam und abwechlungsreich waren.

Tolles Objekt mit netten Vermietern in einer tollen Umgebung
Das Barnhouse ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der große Garten ist perfekt für Kinder und Hunde. Allerdings ist der Zaun am Gastank nicht dicht, von dort aus kommt der Hund auf die Straße, deshalb den Hund nicht alleine in den Garten lassen! Die gesamte Gegend ist von Poldern durchzogen, sehr gute Angelmöglichkeiten. Auch die Spaziergänge vom Haus aus waren toll.
Der Check-In war kontaktlos möglich, sehr gut vorbereitet durch vorherigen Kontakt mit den Vermietern. Corina ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Achtet sehr darauf, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Wände zum Haupthaus sind sehr dünn, so dass wir einmal durch morgendlichen Kinderlärm um 7 geweckt wurden. Ist ärgerlich, aber gibt schlimmeres! Als Entschädigung gab es Schokolade!
Alles in allem ein tolles Appartement mit netten Vermietern in einer wunderschönen Lage. Gerne wieder!

Wunderschönes Barnhouse in idealer Lage
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit im The Barnhouse genossen! Das Häuschen ist nicht nur sehr geräumig und lichtdurchflutet, sondern auch sehr geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es liegt mitten im Grünen. Vom Barnhouse aus lassen sich tolle Tagesausflüge unternehmen, da viele Städte - wie Rotterdam, Den Haag, Gouda oder Utrecht sehr gut (mit dem Auto) zu errreichen sind. Corina ist außerdem eine sehr hilfsbereite und sympathische Vermieterin, die einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Für einen Urlaub in den Niederlanden absolut zu empfehlen!

Tolle Ferienwohnung voller Genuß
Alles war sehr unkompliziert. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr warmherzig und freundlich. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön. Durchgestylt dabei sehr großzügig und gemütlich. Wir haben uns in den paar Tagen Kurzurlaub sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.
Ein Traum, unbedingte Empfehlung. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter :)
