  • Two bedroom log cabin sleeps two couples or a family of 5-6. Open plan dining / kitchen / sitting room with spiral staircase to 1st floor bedroom with balcony overlooking tree-tops. Separate ground floor double bedroom. Family bathroom with shower. All electric heating, Free on-site parking for two cars.
    Previous Guests – Please Note - Price adjustments for 2025 season onwards.
    (1) Electricity is now included in the rental (previously electricity was a separate charge).
    (2) Pricing is set per night, with substantial discounts offered for stays of 7+ nights (because we still prefer to let our lodges weekly, however we do sometimes offer short-lets.) Pricing is calculated automatically by VRBO based on your chosen dates.
    The lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen with all crockery, utensils and appliances; dishwasher, fridge, automatic washing machine / drier, microwave, oven & hob. Bedding, Linen and towels all included. Free wifi is usually available. Well-behaved pets allowed.

Lovely cottage.

Awesome, secluded, quiet wee cottage. Super stable temperature and every thing needed to cook, do washing in house. An easy short drive to Fort William was our base.

We found the lodge to be a very comfortable , well equiped property. The location is beautiful and very quite . We loved our stay here and found it to be a good base to explore the highlands . Shelia and Ronnie were very welcoming and made our stay a memorable one. We will hopefully return in the near future .

2nd year of staying in Sheila's lodges,she is a lovely lady who makes you feel very welcome.the lodge is situated in a lovely tranquil area, its so peaceful and quiet even the deer and sheep visit you.about 20 mins away from Fort William and easy access to aviemore, kingussie wildlife park and other places. Wonderful location for family holidays

We had such a great time at this place. I highly recommend it. Our children could sleep upstairs and had their own space. The lodge is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. Although the location seems remote at first, you can easily access many worth seeing areas and shops.

Ronnie and Sheila have done everything to make your stay comfortable and easy. A wonderful lodge, secluded location and dark starlit night skies make it the perfect getaway. If you need the outside world, there is broadband.

Amazing!!

Perfect for our needs. Absolutely amazing surroundings. The lodge was very clean on arrival. Tea, sugar, milk and biscuits was there ready on arrival, which we thought was an excellent little touch as we had travelled 400miles. It was lovely to sit outside with a cuppa before we unpacked. Can’t fault anything at all and the owner is so lovely and friendly. Definitely stay again :)
