「Very comfortable cottage in a quiet rural area but only 10mins drive from Whitchurch with some lovely shops and restaurants. Easy access to North Wales and several National Trust properties. We had a relaxing time and would be very happy to return.」

「It was the perfect dog friendly place to stay, good position between coast and hills and forest. Everything we needed for comfort, Sandra (the owner)is next door for any issues you may have, the village is very pretty and perfect for dog walks with lots of lanes through the country if you don't fancy going to far, would highly recommend」

「We enjoyed a relaxed 3 nights here for my 40th birthday and would definitely return. The house is very spacious, it will easily accommodate the 6 people and there is ample parking. It is also well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches, the piano was also welcome! The village itself is quiet, there are lots of places to walk nearby plus a short drive takes you to the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy and surrounding forests or a longer drive (an hour and a half ish) takes you to Snowdon. For anyone used...

「We so enjoyed our stay at Olive. The building is gorgeous and decor really calming. The upstairs is so light and the high ceilings make the space feel much bigger. The area is peaceful, we enjoyed listening to the birds. The garden was much enjoyed by our puppy! Local walks are plentiful and there are a variety of pubs to choose from though having a car is essential if you're wanting to get out and about. Local farm shop was lovely. The bath was much enjoyed and the kitchen extremely well...

「Outstanding property with easy access and great communication beforehand. The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. The place is beautiful and a real real gem. I definitely will be back like Arnie once said….」

「Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.」

「It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. 」

「Excellent place to stay. Highly recommend」
