“Room was clean and staff worked to keep it so. Staff were good at providing a decent service and giving advice. No problem with parking although I do not think it was full up whilst we stayed there. Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning.”

“The room itself was spacious and clean. The pub was great loads of drink selection and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Our only negative was weather related. The fan in the room didn't help with the heat at all. We had to keep the window open to try and cool the room. On the Saturday it was fine, however on the Friday the noise went on until around 1am from the pub garden. If it wasn't so abnormally hot we could have closed the window and there would have been no bother. We……

“Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? Answer No, not til the restaurant opened at 830 am !!!( Old COFFEE Inn ?!? ). Was the restaurant still open ( closing at 8pm ...didn't know what they were serving ). Would the 8pm World Cup match be shown ? ( Mind you there was a sign out front advertising it ). NO, they only put the TV on for England……

“Love the location. Staff that I met were v friendly. The food was excellent and well worth the stay. The room was comfortable and pleased to see coffee bags rather than the disgusting tubes of Nescafe which most hotels do. There were a couple pf things which werent so good but it wouldnt stop me staying again. In the evening the water took a while to warm up which was ok however in the morning it didnt at all. I had a wet shave waiting for it to heat up so shave was in cold water and shower was……

“The parking is at the road edge ' not secure ' but ok. The railway line is close with regular trains, my room was very clean and nice linen, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, cooked full English was ok but it seemed they were trying too hard.”

“Great room away from the pub itself. The accommodation was clean, and quiet in the evening. The pub shuts no later than 10. Lovely views of the canal. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance along the tow path, including a micro brewery. The White Hart sells amazing Indian food! We shared a pizza for lunch in the Narrowboat which was lovely. Staff helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly! Ubers are available if you want a trip out. They seem to be a bit more reasonable than the……

“All excellent from property, staff and location. The only issue was road noise as on busy main road, this is not a critism just an observation from our point of view, may not bother people that are used to noise!!”
