This was an amazingly cozy, clean, comfortable, and perfect stay! The host was very helpful and kind and the place was so welcoming and beautiful. I can't wait to book here again :) I really appreciated the amenities and the bed offered us the best sleep we've had in a while (so comfortable!) I loved the view in the mornings from the porch as sun was coming up and the rocking chair-bench. Fire place was lovely to enjoy as well and the temperature stayed perfect inside for us. Even our first arrival, which was later at at night, was easy to understand with the clear instructions. We did use AWD mini SUV which helped with the hills- so thank you for that recommendation! Overall it was a wonderful stay.

40th Anniversary

We loved this place. We enjoyed the peace and quiet here and spent quite a bit of our stay out on the porch enjoying the view. Highly recommend this spot for any couples getaway. You won't be disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this comfy, peaceful cabin in the Upper Canyon during late March. I can see how winter months would require 4 wheel drive. We had absolutely everything we needed in this well-appointed cabin. Would definitely recommend to others.

This cabin was a perfect place for me on my quick trip to Ruidoso. Clean and quiet, a few minutes out of time but I like that so I could get away but hope into town to for dinner etc. Highly recommended!!

Ruidoso Get Away 2024

The Little Pine Cottage was perfect for our get away this summer... Sad to see the devastation that occurred in Ruidoso from the fires and flooding but thankful that the Little Pine was saved. We stayed there in 2019 and it was as perfect 5 years later as it was the first time. It was so relaxing and look forward to our return trip next year.
