The cabin was very cozy, we found it Clean, the kitchen and terrace área was perfect for cooking, we did a cook out. The living Room was very comfortable. Everything was great! And we saw deer everyday

Cozy cabin retreat

Loved the porch!

The property was fabulous! We felt the property was great. Great neighborhood. The porch and the fire place was amazing. The decor was soothing. We absolutely loved it. Thank you Alonso.

Bad experience!

The property is described as spacious, it is not! It smells musty and moldy. The mini split in rhe main living area was pouring water out if it and ww were constantly drying there floors so they wouldn't ruin. This was while we placed a cooler, a trashcan and a bucket to catch water. This was in the middle of july, we turned it off at night to get some sleep and it was like sleeping in a sauna. The manager came out to fix it the next day in the afternoon. We were only there for 2 days sonover half of our trip we dealt with this problem. Manager did not feel it was a big deal We asked to be reimbursed for that night and was denied. Not much concern for the customer, just the money. I would post videos and pictures but there isnt a place for that on this review. Rent at your own risk!

Wonderful property!

We had a great time, really enjoyed hanging out on the deck!! The location is in close proximity to Grindstone Lake. The house was clean, kitchen items labeled well (so we didn’t spend a lot of time looking for items), there’s a fireplace on the deck that really lets you enjoy the outdoor space, dog and child friendly, and there was a small run for the pets to use. The owner was easily accessible, was the first to contact through the whole stay giving us good recommendations, and answering any questions about the house. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Attention to details

Easily accessible from town. Excellent amenities like tea makers teas and pantry items. This is a rustic cabin redone. Beds are new and wonderful. The host was very accessible. I didn't have my dog but is a good location for smaller dogs. Quite neighbors. The city is struggling with covid. Several restaurants were closed with outbreak. Masks are few. Open locations don't have enough employees for service. Even inn of mountain was sparse. Plan to cook.

Very nice stay

We stayed for a month and loved it. Deck is great, elk are all over the place, and swimming lake is about five minutes away. Very close to main parts of town.

Ruidoso long weekend

The property was very much the same as pictured. It was decorated very well and had everything we needed. If you are looking for something more modern this is not the place for you. I would call it more rustic and quaint but we thought it was cute. The only issue we had with the place was it listed air conditioning as an amenity. There was air conditioning but only a window unit in the kitchen and a window unit in the master bedroom. The guests that stayed in one of the extra bedrooms were too warm at night. There were ceiling fans in the rooms which helped some. In Ruidoso of course this wouldn’t be an issue except for the summer months. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
