Great Little Cabin…

Spouse and I just returned from a 3 day stay in this property. Maybe we were naive, but the “great little cabin”is really a “great little trailer.” We learned that like most “cabins” in Ruidoso this one was a fixed up mobile home. It had log siding on the exterior and vinyl wood paneling and flooring on the interior. The unit was clean and the kitchen, bathroom and deck exceeded expectations, especially the twinkle lights. The unit could use another window unit in the master bedroom and the neighborhood is a bit rough, otherwise everything worked well enough.

A lot to be desired. Beds are aweful unless you’re 10 and don’t care where you sleep. Couldn’t use grill only 1/2 of it worked. Floors were like walking on wet plywood. Just not a pleasant stay. Plus $250 pet fee for 2 small schnauzers! The solution for July temps was a portable air conditioner that was loud & box fans. No ty never again
