Pet-Friendly, Clean, Plenty of beds and space! Lots of central space for family to spend time together. Loved the covered porches and outdoor furniture! Would recommend more work on the driveway rut. Make entry and exit smoother. We Greatly enjoyed our stay!! Would definitely recommend Hidalgo Haven to Everyone!

Vacation

Beautiful area everywhere was easily accessible. We enjoyed casino and ski resort. Also Walmart close by. Great place to stay. Lots of room for the 7 of us.

Great spot to stay the weekend!

It is a nice affordable place to stay. I loved having an upstairs and downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The place was kept nice and clean. It is a close distance to hiking trails. The air-conditioned rooms made it a great sleeping experience! It is also very quiet there. We had a great time! Trying to think of negatives... the inside of the grill was not cleaned, but that was the responsibility of past guests, and I can say we gave it a good cleaning after use. We also had some trouble getting up the driveway. It seems previous guests had similar issues with the steep inclined of the driveway and dug in ruts making it even tougher to get up the hill in our small hatchback. There also was some big rocks pushed into the driveway. This is a simple fix and we informed the owners in a note. This is also a non-issue if you have a good sized pickup. Over all it is a great place to stay and we plan to return the next time we travel to the area.

Good family and pet friendly home

Comfortable beds! We were nervous about the glass covering the tables because we had kids so we moved the coffee table into a corner during our stay. Lots of pollen on the decks so I wish we had had access to a hose so we could rinse it down but pollen isn’t their fault. We would stay there again! Deer every morning and night eating the trees and bedding down in the vacant lot next door.

Necessities

I was disappointed because they did not have many items that we needed, not enough pans to cook, not enough spoons to serve, not enough kitchen big bowls for food, not enough wood to burn, the back screen sliding door was broken, other than that it was nice to spend thanksgiving.
