「David's place was a wonderful base for exploring Girona for the first time! There is really no need for a car, as you are right in the heart of Old Town. So lovely to plan the day while looking out at the birds and the river, to see a festival band pass by in the street below from the back balcony, or watch the lights on the bridges at night. The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room.
