More than we expected!
The bastide, gardens and pool gave us everything we expected from a vacation in rural France. The kitchen was well equipped and very large. Beds were comfy. The pool and the garden were lovely to relax around. The owner, Bin was really lovely and kind to deal with. I would definitely stay here again!

Idyllic Getaway
Fantastic setting. Farmhouse simply furnished but perfect for children, with a real French feel. Pool nicely situated, so safe for young children. Pool overlooks vineyards with hills in the distance. Accommodation nicely situated between Apt and Rustrel as well as many other beautiful Provence towns. We will return one day. Loved it!

Très bon séjour dans cette magnifisue région
Région à decouvrir. Le logement est grand, il y fait frais. Quelques aménagements en vue d une modernisatiin des lieux seraient sans doute utiles, mais pour notre part, cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Les contacts avec la propriétaire et le conciergecont été très aisés. Il ne faut pas hésiter à leur faire part de souci, ils cherchent à apporter rapidement des solutions. Bref, nous avons passé un agréable séjour

Beautiful view, wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time at La Grande Bastide! The view from the pool is spectacular—in early July you overlook vineyards and lavender fields. The bastide is large and we had a bigger apartment in it, spacious living area with a kitchen, living room, dining room, storage space, and half bathroom downstairs. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, one toilet, two bathrooms with showers and sinks, and more storage space. There was no air conditioning, but the place stayed cool with the shutter closed. There is also an outdoor private courtyard with a table and a grill, and then more shared picnic tables and a ping pong table under a large plane tree. You can wander around the gardens (lavender, mulberry trees, olive trees, etc.) or relax in one of the many comfortable lounge chairs at the pool (there are sunny and shady spots at the pool). The bakery in Rustrel is wonderful, and there are larger grocery stores in Apt (and also close to the many weekly markets around the different towns). It was easy to drive to places like Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, etc. and a beautiful drive through the mountains to visit Lourmarin. When we return to the area I would definitely book an apartment at La Grande Bastide again.

Une belle endormie
Une très belle bastide dans un cadre verdoyant et fleuri, une grande piscine avec une vue magnifique. Sa situation est idéale pour découvrir la région, à seulement quelques kms d'Apt et des beaux villages du Luberon. Malheureusement l'intérieur n'est pas à la hauteur de l'extérieur : bien que les chambres soient correctes, le reste du logement mériterait un rafraichissement et le mobilier d'être remplacé (particulièrement dans le salon). Enfin un effort sur la propreté serait bienvenu. Notre séjour s'est néanmoins bien passé.

Belle bastide extérieurement à partager avec plusieurs groupes de résidents.
La bastide est très belle extérieurement avec un parc immense magnifiquement entretenues , une très grande piscine avec une vue sublime, mais l’ensemble est à partager entre plusieurs résidents qui la louent de façon indépendante. En fait ce n’est pas très gênant car les lieux de vie extérieurs pour les repas sont sans vis à vis. L’intérieur est très vaste, les lits confortables, mais la décoration peu chaleureuse, l’ensemble est propre, les chambres immenses, les deux salles de bains correctes. Des dépendances pratiques. Comme on vit dehors ceci nous va très bien. La plancha extérieure est un plus, ainsi que le jardin privatif et la table de Ping Pong. Très beau séjour dans un lieu magnifique, avec beaucoup de place, et des hôtes à l’écoute.

Spectacular villa in Provence
We cannot put words into how wonderful our experience at La Grande Bastide was! YangBin was very responsive. The Villa was just wonderful and we loved every moment. It has a fabulous pool which was exhilarating after touring and hiking. The caretakers were fabulous! They even cooked a Moroccan dinner for us one night! The house has everything we needed. Maybe a couple more Fans would have been nice, but really we had a fabulous time. Other guest we Met has been there multiple times which is indicative of deep satisfaction. We even had one night of happy hour under the trees with several of them. All in all a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back!
