“Owner Dave and his daughter were extremely friendly and welcoming. Summer Hill Guest House in a very good location to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent and there was a large choice available for all tastes. Parking was good but would be a bit awkward in busy periods. Room was clean and had a very good shower. We had room 2 and if you're like me 6ft 4 watch your head as you enter...also it would have been better if there was a couple of chairs and table rather then a small fold out……

“We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,……

“Easy check-in. Tidy room bed and bit soft for my liking. Quick food service. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Staff polite. Pool table and dart board nice little extra. Breakfast spot on.”

“Lovely large clean room, Bill and June we great hosts June was very helpful with bus times, places to go and eat, close enough to walk into Chester and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stop again if in area.”

“helped by being found a downstairs room on suite as we are both disabled. Room was mall but adequate. Only parking was over the road in a pay car park. as we did not move the car for two days it was only £20 for the 48 hrs.”

“Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. ”
