Ich hatte ein kleines Parterre-Apartment. Für eine-zwei Nächte ist es eine angemessene Unterkunft, für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre es zu klein und zu "kellermässig".

Good value room in Gstaad

I'd booked the en suite single room. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, I think their main offering is self catered apartments so if you just have a room like I did then there is no eating option on the premises. It's about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Gstaad where I had an evening meal. Good value accommodation at CHF57 for 1 night.

Great location in Gstaad area

If you are looking for a rural setting, but still close to Gstaad Saanen area, this is the place. Well appointed room, everything you need and a great view to make it a great stay.

Great location but a bit out of town.

Very high quality studio with good standard of facilities and equipment. Chalet is located just over a mile out of the town centre and railway station. Okay, but it is nearly all uphill, so a bit of a climb. Alternative is to get a taxi, but this costs 21 CHF, about £20 each way. A bit steep, but Gstaad is an expensive place to stay. Saying that, the chalet is located in a fabulous location and the views down the valley to the town are just beautiful, both in the snow, and I'm sure, in the summer. Luckily the snow had just arrived and the skiing was good, but very quiet, with empty pistes and nothing in the way of atmosphere or apre-ski going on. Don't know if this is normal, but suspect that this might be the case. So don't expect anything in the way of nightlife.

Tolles Zimmer an ruhiger Lage inkl. WiFi

Wir wurden vom Gastgeber und seinem Sohn sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Das Gebäude wurde kürzlich mit viel Liebe komplett renoviert und liegt ruhig am Dorfrand. Der Blick in die freie Natur auf ein paar in der Ferne grasende Kühe ist traumhaft. Das Dorfzentrum von Gstaad liegt etwas mehr als einen Kilometer entfernt. Das Auto konnten wir in unmittelbarer Nähe des Zimmers parkieren. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Nasszelle ist ausreichend gross. Die Küche haben wir nicht benutzt, aber auch hier scheint alles vorhanden zu sein. Im Treppenhaus gibt's eine Art Minibar, wo gegen ein kleines Entgelt Süssgetränke, Wein oder durch den Gastgeber eigens produzierten Honig gekauft werden können. Wir können die Unterkunft bedingungslos weiterempfehlen.
